In addition, my Dad spent 60+ years in the Fire/ EMS/ Red Cross/ Ski Patrol. I am not only selling my stuff, but helping him sell his stuff. That is 90+ years of collecting things. Federal Signal Aerodynic Tow Truck Lightbar AMBER Lenses; Partially Working
If you need or want a vintage light bar. This might be for you! This used light bar is in good cosmetic shape for its age. But only some of the lights are currently working see details below mixed in with 14 pictures. Item is sold as-is. As-described and as-pictured with no opportunity for return. Replacement or refund. Sale is final. This is a ONE-DAY sale! This is a bulky and heavy item; shipping from California to your zipcode reflects that. Please scroll down through 14 pictures; text between some pictures. I got this used light bar at a government auction; guess they replaced this one with one of the new THIN ones! There is a slight dent in one of the trim pieces as seen above. The amber plastic is in pretty good shape all around. But there are a couple of scrapes as might be expected. As shown above and below the multi-line cable is ... morein good shape. The outer covering that holds the bundle of wires only has one worn spot and it's not worn through to endanger the wiring inside. I hooked a small 110 to 12 volt power supply to the red wire and then connected from its black terminal to each of the other colored wires in sucession to see what would light up. The black wire above is(I assume) a common ground. The green wire operated a light on the left end; it stayed on steady. The blue wire briefly flashed a light on the left end of the unit; I don't know if the bulb burned out or what. But it only did that once. The orange wire produced a steady hum from the voltage coverter; it's possible it just didn't have the amperage to make happen whatever was supposed to happen. But that's one of the reasons this is being sold as is; I can't guarantee everything works. The yellow wire lit up a light at each of the two ends of the unit. This function is sort of a floodlight arrangement. FINALLY. I saw no movement of the motorized light reflectors that are supposed to go back and forth; this may be because of insufficient power I supplied or it may be something else. Remember. This is a Federal Sign and Signal Corporation Beacon Ray Rotating Light. Model 17, Volts 12 DC. It appears to be in good vintage condition and we were told that it works, but we are not able to test it. There are two domes included. The red dome is plastic and the yellow dome is glass. I don't know if they are both original to the base or not. There is also a seal included, but it has become a bit dry and brittle with age. Up for sale is a set of Federal Sign and Signal model 184 series A3. Both lights were in working order when removed from the 1977 Mack CF they were mounted to. Both lights have the gaskets on the bottom and the original attaching hardware. The dimensions per light are approximately 9.75" tall. 11.5" wide at the base and 9.5" wide at the top. As you will note, one of the identification tags is faded and one of the light covers is cracked. Please ask any questions before you buy since I accept no returns.

Federal Signal Jetstrobe 10 strobe lightbar 48" light bar Clear lenses / domes
Here is a USED 48" Federal Signal Jetstrobe lightbar. This bar has been tested& everything inside is in working condition. It has(10) strobes- 4 front. 4 rear& 1 in each endcap. Also has side alley lights& 2 front takedown lights(steady burn) Cable is about 10 feet long. The plastic mounting feet are included. They do have an additional hole(or holes) drilled in them. Roof/gutter clamps are NOT included as this bar was bolted through the roof previously. Needs just power& ground& toggle/ rocker switches or a switchbox to work. Pictures represent a SIMILAR lightbar I sold a few weeks back. This one is in about the same condition but is missing the endcap labels(if I find some I will include them) Check my other auctions for more lights. If you have any questions. One used Federal Signal model 25 Aerodynic wrecker bar. 52" with mounts. Mounts have all rubber feet. Has about 3' of cable. Rotators are working well. There are 6 stationary lights. Some are working& some are not. This bar is useable as is. But I think it could use some TLC and fresh wiring inside. Domes are all amber. OK condition. Useable but not perfect. Someone blacked out the top of the domes with contact paper. It peels off easily. End caps are screwed on too. Please see all the pictures. Sold as is for parts or repair. Federal Signal Twinsonic single red dome
This dome has no cracks but will need to be wet sanded and buffed to be really nice. It has white haze on it. I have wet sanded and polished these in the past and this one will be super nice with an afternoon of sanding and polishing. Someone used a dremel style tool to cut out a really small square at the bottom corner. But that will be covered up by siren box when mounted. Please let me know if I can answer any questions.
