Here is a USED pair of(2) amber upper domes for the Federal Signal Streethawk lightbar. These have wear& tear& could use more cleaning. There are a few VERY small cracks in the top center of 1 dome. I have 1 area circled in the pictures but there is a second area with the same type of crack. As they sit now. I'd say they're maybe a 6 on a scale of 1-10. I have 20+ speakers for sale here. Mostly are Whelen SA314s and mixed with Federal Signal Dynamax units. All in good shape. 100 watt, tested and working perfectly. MOST have brackets of some sort. Most of the Whelens are crown vic brackets and these are easy to trim the ears off and you can make them a universal flat mount with the ears. The Fed Sigs are universal bail mount brackets. Long stretching cord. Amber dome that looks a bit on the orange side to me. The bulbs inside are Wagner 28V 4505. Base has a military olive green color to it. Normally I just give facts and leave my opinion out. But this thing cool with the cord and base. I wish I knew more about what it came off of, but alas I don't. I hooked it up(I know how to series 2 batteries together) and it flashed 30 times in 27 seconds, so close to 1 flash/sec. With 2 beams, it is rotating about once every 2 secs. Nice and bright. Guaranteed to work. CONDITION: Clearly got used in its day. But nothing major happened. Dome has scratches and the white spot on top looks like old ... moresticker residue. I did not attempt goo off. Metal band and mount show use. With that, there are no cracks, dents, or such. Very sound and solid. This is an"emergency" light that would be placed on the roof of a fireman's or policeman's car. It is the Fire Ball model FB-1 made by Federal Sign and Signal Corporation of Chicago. Ill. It has a red plastic dome and a cord with a plug that is made to go into a cigarette lighter(12V) It has 3 magnets on the bottom. Federal Signal Nypd Beacon Ray Light Bar
Up for auction is a federal signal beacon ray light used by the nypd in the late 50's and the 60's. This beacon is specific to the cars for the nypd for this era. This hill light has the tall base in very nice condition. This has not been trimmed and is still level. There are 2 small holes at the base that will prolly cover up with the gasket. The bulbs are authentic in placement and type. The angled bulbs are of the 15 degree and not 45 degree like the other hill light. The badge is in great shape showing the designation 175-h. The dome is used with no cracks or crazing. But new is available after the auction. I also have new skirt and dome gaskets available as well.
