Antique Machine Age Industrial Chair Stool Steel Do-More Casters Adjustable UHL
Here we have a great Machine Age industrial chair. This chair is made of steel and I have seen people listing them as UHL Toledo and also as Do-More stools. I have not seen any markings on this chair to indicate either of them as being the brand. The casters are Bassick casters and as you can see from the photos there is some wear and chipping to the wheels. Photo 10 shows the worst of the chipping to one of the wheels. As you can see from the photos this chair has been repainted and maybe recovered but it was obviously done awhile ago. The back rest of the chair is about 31 inches tall and the back rest is about 15 inches wide. The seat is about 17 1/2 inches tall and is 12 1/2 inches by 16 inches. I don't know exactly what this table is for or how it was used. The top is 16 X 26 Inches of an unknown to me type of wood. It is lumber core with veneer on the top. The pedestal is telescoping and can be lowered to a minimum height of 28 inches or raised to a maximum height of 42 inches. As can be seen in picture number three the top can be rotated to 90 degrees from the original position. It can also be tilted in either direction. There is a rod that can be flipped from one side to the other. I don't know what the rod is used for. But it can be placed in the other hole and it changes where it lies on the top. 4 Replacement Caster Mounting Brackets/Sockets NOS with signs of age Most common size(these will most likely fit yours) See ruler in pictures for size comparison Approximately 1 3/16" tall Hole diameter is 3/8" Thanks for your interest! When installing: First check to see if your caster fits the bracket- then take it out but make sure to pinch the flanged tube of the bracket back in place with pliers(that's what holds your caster in the bracket) Now if your caster stem fits in the hole and extends past the tube of the bracket. At all, your caster fits- Even if it has play up and down, it's OK, many wheels have varying stem lengths, the important thing is that the wheels/casters don't fall out.they will still spin freely which is what your going for(you don't usually need to lift your dresser leg off of the ground.So ... moreyou don't have to worry about vertical play) If the stem of your caster is two long for the hole of your furniture leg just drill it deeper with a bit the size of the bracket tube. Next center the bracket evenly in the hole of the furniture leg you're working with. Then tap the toothed portion of the bracket into the wood with a hammer- it won't get flush with the wood but it should be pretty snug, then put your caster in. Your set!

These are not marked. 4 casters have 2" hard rubber black wheels. The 2 darker colored ones do not have a makers name on them. The older looking of the remaining 2 is marked FAULTLESS and the newer looking one is marked NOELTING-FAULTLESS. The lone caster has a 1 1/2" red rubber wheel. It is marked DIAMOND STEEL TRUCK CO. Group Lot Vintage Metal Antique Furniture Casters Wood Wheels Odd Lot
This is a group of 14 vintage furniture casters-an odd lot of metal caster with a wood wheel. There are no mounting sleeves. The top 4 measure approx 1" in diameter. The middle row about 1 18" and the bottom 3 about 1 14" in diameter. There is wear, and some of the wheels are flat on one side, but none are broken through. All of the stems appear to be about the same size to fit into a standard metal sleeve. There might be enough to make a set of 4, but no 4 exactly alike-this is the last of the"restoration" casters that I had in a drawer for many years.

Antique Step Back Bookcase Cupboard 2 Drawers Dbl Casters 19th Century Two Doors
Hi. This wonderful bookcase needs just a little TLC to be an exceptional piece. The dark wood is gorgeous. My best guess is that is is probably a Civil War era piece or possibly earlier. The left door has a vertical latch on the bottom and the right door has a lock mechanism. I replaced the bottom left pane of glass with the existing nails and woodwork intact. Two supports for the fully adjustable shelves have been fashioned out of plywood and do not match the existing supports. One drawer handle is a little loose. The dovetails are hand cut. Not made by machine. The panels in the back could use some work. I did not snug the crown all the way down so the dowels will come out easily when sold, so I can't comment on how tight it is in the rear. The top panes of glass are the original wavy glass. Both bottom panes have been replaced. The ... moredimensions are 87 1/4 x 52 and 19 1/2 inches.deep.This is a beautiful looking piece of furniture. Don't miss out. This is complete and very old! Delivery and installation is available anywhere in New England for a fee. This item is on display in our storefront for potential bidders to see. Thanks for looking. Pair (2) Antique Iron Casters - Industrial / Piano Casters
We present to you for your bidding consideration this Early Pair(2) Iron Casters. Found while cleaning out a barn of which we had won the bid on at a recent estate auction in south east Ohio. These Iron Casters date to the early 1900's and quite possibly the late 1890's. Measuring 3 5/8" tall(tip of stem to bottom of wheel) The stem measures 3/4" in diameter and stands 1 5/16" tall from the three screw mounting flange. Flange measures 2 1/8" in diameter. The wheel cradle is quite robust and carries a wheel that measures 1 3/4" tall x 1" in width. Each iron caster weighs approximately 3 pounds a piece. Please e-mail witjh all questions. Vintage industrial stool Toledo? casters adjustable steampunk machinist leather!
This is a beauty of a piece. What you see is what you get. The stool is fully functional(that is the casters roll and turn smoothly. As does the screw adjustment) This has spent the bulk of its life in an auto-body shop so it has paint and chemicals all over it. I made no attempt to clean it. It has pitting and surface rust. It used to be chrome. This would be a great addition to an artist studio or auto shop or any industrial decor. See the pictures for the best description. Lower 48 USA only!
