100 W. HPS outdoor commercial lighting wall mount fixture
This wall mount security lamp was manufactured in 07 but has been out of use in my storage locker since late 08. It has a nice complete gasket. With the lens cover open the mirrored area of the lamp is about 8 inches X 8 inches. There are 2 mounting bolts on the back with locking hex nuts. 2 unused knockouts on either side, 1 used knockout on top where the 110 volt test line is. The lamp will be shipped with the bulb removed and adequately protected and about 1 foot of each of the 3 wires coiled up inside. The plate inside gives the following info: HD Luminaire Cat. NO. WP100 input voltage 120V- For Wall Mount Only- Replace w/ HPS S-54 Lamp- Suitable for wet location- Input Current 2.5A- Use wire rated for at least 90 degrees C. This Explosion proof fixture is made by Whelen with parts from Crouse-Hinds. Very heavy But not rusted so I am assuming it is cast aluminum. this was a strobe fixture for hazardous locations but I have no way of testing if it will work as a strobe it would need DC power and as far as Whelen states this is a fixture from the 80's and no longer made. The plastic light cover inside the glass housing is red but could be changed when rewired for AC use. please look at the photos they are part of the description. I bought 10 of these lights several years ago at an estate sale. They are used but in great condition. I have used 7 of them in various places around the house. In an out building and over my work bench. The neat thing about them is that you don't have to have a track and they already have the hanger right on them. I just removed the pieces for the track and wired the lights straight to my power source. Of course they will work on the tracks as well. I have tested them and they do work, I have 3 of them left for sale. Here's the only things I see wrong with them. The other thing you see in the last pick is that the heat often cracks the fins on the covers as well, they don't break and fall out and if you don't remove the cover, you can't even see that the fins are cracked, just wanted you to know in case one of the ones you get is that way.
