LSI Lighting Fluorescent Wall Wash Track Light Fixture-Biax-White-24"-2 Bulb
I bought 10 of these lights several years ago at an estate sale. They are used but in great condition. I have used 7 of them in various places around the house. In an out building and over my work bench. The neat thing about them is that you don't have to have a track and they already have the hanger right on them. I just removed the pieces for the track and wired the lights straight to my power source. Of course they will work on the tracks as well. I have tested them and they do work, I have 3 of them left for sale. Here's the only things I see wrong with them. Note in the one pic, the plastic pieces used to snap the ends of the long bulbs in have broken, all lights that use those eventually break from the heat. It doesn't effect the use of the light at all. The bulbs just rest on the cover or hang free without the clips. Mine ... morehave been working for 4 or 5 years with no problems and I've never even replaced a bulb in one of mine, so pretty good life on the bulbs in these lights. The other thing you see in the last pick is that the heat often cracks the fins on the covers as well, they don't break and fall out and if you don't remove the cover, you can't even see that the fins are cracked, just wanted you to know in case one of the ones you get is that way. Lithonia: C-240 (2 light T-8) Strip Fixture Fluorescent Light Electronic Ballast
Up for sale is a Lithonia C- 240 Strip Fixture which is designed for 2 each fluorescent lights. This item is"used" Used" because I modified it for over the desk application. I installed an electronic ballast for T-8 32 watt application. I installed two Duro Test Vita Lite Plus Fluorescent Lights. I then attached two eye hooks on the back side of the fixture so that the light fixture could hang down from the ceiling(parallel to the desk top) and above the desk top by 3 feet. This was my desk light. Very much like what you would expect of a high quality light above a drafting table. Duro Test Vita Lite is the best light in the world for reading and writing. The blacks are black and the whites are white. Paper is no longer a yellow color as what you would get with ordinary fluorescent light. For precision reading. Writing or drawing ... morethe Vita Lite is the best. Eye stress is less. Tension is less. Ease of sight is better. I installed a 6 foot line cord for plugging-in to an outlet. Lithonia has been a major manufacturer of light fixtures of a commercial grade for many years. And this light fixture is a C- 240 vintage which was designed for industrial use. The most common application of this light fixture is into the ceiling and connected directly to the switch leg of the on/off switch. And this fixture can do that. Most likely application as it is right now is for a garage over the work bench. I also used this light fixture to demonstrate the value of the Duro Text Fluorescent Light. Vita Lite Plus. I am no longer in the lighting business and do not need to demonstrate lights any longer and that is the reason for offering this light fixture with two lights.
