Fluorescent lighting fixtures HEAVY DUTY SUBWAY lights 4ft tube vandal-resistant
A set of 3 fluorescent light fixtures by Mark Co. Label says: Recessed Type Fluorescent Fixture Issue No. 126.376. UL approved. 120VAC 60Hz. They take standard 4ft 2 pin tubes. The lens frame is hinged for lamp service. I have all 3 white painted reflectors that are mounted between the bulbs and entrance wiring. The photos show the fixture with and without the reflector in place. The cover(lens and its frame) is 15" wide. The main box is 12" x 48.25" x 3.75" Total depth is 4.25" These fixtures are heavy duty. They are solid and weigh 46lbs each. I purchased these from a contractor who did renovation work on NY Subway stations(he sold me used subway signs too) These are vandal-resistant units he installed in the stations. The lens is lexan or similar and thick. Screws secure the cover in place(total 8 although you ... morereally need two only) I installed these in a garage storage room for approx. 5 years. They should be pristine but there is light surface rust on some surfaces as well as scratches. The wiring and ballast is good. Safe with no evidence of damage or degradation. Local pickup is available only because they are so heavy. I will consider shipping them but you must be aware of how expensive that will be. LSI Lighting Fluorescent Wall Wash Track Light Fixture-Biax-White-24"-2 Bulb
I bought 10 of these lights several years ago at an estate sale. They are used but in great condition. I have used 7 of them in various places around the house. In an out building and over my work bench. The neat thing about them is that you don't have to have a track and they already have the hanger right on them. I just removed the pieces for the track and wired the lights straight to my power source. Of course they will work on the tracks as well. I have tested them and they do work, I have 3 of them left for sale. Here's the only things I see wrong with them. Note in the one pic, the plastic pieces used to snap the ends of the long bulbs in have broken, all lights that use those eventually break from the heat. It doesn't effect the use of the light at all. The bulbs just rest on the cover or hang free without the clips. Mine ... morehave been working for 4 or 5 years with no problems and I've never even replaced a bulb in one of mine, so pretty good life on the bulbs in these lights. The other thing you see in the last pick is that the heat often cracks the fins on the covers as well, they don't break and fall out and if you don't remove the cover, you can't even see that the fins are cracked, just wanted you to know in case one of the ones you get is that way. If you want all 3 of these, let me know before you purchase them and I will switch the shipping to UPS which will be cheaper by weight than USPS. Visit my store for more great items.
