Mid century industrial design desk lamp. Working condition. This lamp has a goldtone hammered finish. Base is cast metal to provide stability. Uprights are tubular, lower portion is painted, upper portion is chromed. Height is adjustable. Fully extended about 12" tall, the lamp is about 13" wide. New 8W bulb installed. Offered for your consideration is a beautiful antique fluorescent lamp. Fully extended the lampshade reaches a height of 24” If the lamp is positioned with the first segment extended at a right angle from rotating mount. The distance reached is 27” plus the width of the shade. Base is 10.25” across. 8.25” front to back. Arm swings and rotates in many directions and configurations. First arm(segment) measures 15.25” from mount to second joint. Extension from second joint to shade measures about 13.25” Shade measures 18.5” across and 4.25” front to back. There are two fluorescent tubes inside the shade. Lamp works just fine. There are two buttons on top of the shade. A black and a red button(off& on) This lamp is in very good cosmetic condition. The cord is in excellent condition. It measures 10 ft long. I believe this is a replacement ... morecord, as it is a grounding cord with three prongs. The cord is an excellent match with the lamp. There is a scratch on the base extending from the swivel mount toward the edge of the base that is 2.75” long. There is another very light 2.50” from the corner of the base toward the three vertical ridges at the front. The scratches are not deep and no corrosion exists. The lamp is really in very good cosmetic condition. And works very well. Lamp has not been exposed to cigarette smoke. This item is very heavy and the weight is nearly 25 pounds. Most awesome industrial lamp I've seen in awhile. The lamp is large and very heavy. I don't know what kind of metal it is. Looks a mixed grey where the paint peeled off. Same color as zinc. The lamp weighs 24 lbs. I can barely lift it! I plugged in the thick heavy cord(Exc condition) and it lights up great w/ fluorescent bulbs, the black and red buttons work perfectly.I don't know how to accurately describe it but the lamp swivels 360 degrees at the base and at the shade and bends and turns every which way you can think of. This nearly 8 pound. Sturdy, metal desk lamp is just the retro style you've been looking for. It would make a great addition to a den or reading room. Good working condition, but missing one bulb. The existing one works great. There are some scuffs(see photo 3& 4) but that is to be expected with a vintage lamp. It only adds to the era feel. The star label on top of the lamp shade leads me to think it might be WWII era. just a hunch.

Vintage Industrial Magic Arm Desk Lamp Fluorescent Fixture Mid Century Drafting
Offered is a classic looking desk lamp with all the right lines. It's heavily weighted. And adjusts to put light wherever you want it. The lamp has a few bumps and scratches, but some would say that these enhance its authentic vintage appeal. Overall, it looks great. To use this lamp on fine furniture. You must replace the felt which is missing from the underside of the base of the lamp. To be really fussy, the swivel portion of the arm feels a bit loose and could use some tightening, but it's only minimally noticeable and won't likely be an issue to you. Vintage Mid Century 60's Metal Fluorescent Desk Table Light Lamp Industrial
Vintage Art Deco Desk Lamp This great old lamp has been recently painted with aged brass and white finishes. It has a heavy and sturdy base which includes a pen and pencil holder. The base and arms have a textured"wrinkle" finish. The shade is somewhat adjustable- it tilts up and down just a bit. The lamp has a small dent where one of the arms attaches to the shade- shown in the last photo. The switch has 2 positions for turning it on- the first position lets the bulb warm up. Then the switch clicks to on and the bulb lights up all the way. The lamp weighs about 8 1/2 pounds and stands about 15" high. The base measures about 10 1/2" by 4 1/2" The shade measures about 18" long. The lamp has been tested and works well.
