The overall measurement of this large Chandelier is 25” tall including the S-hook at the top by 32” in diameter between the outside drip pans under the candle sockets. COMPLETE 19THC. ANTIQUE CRANBERRY HAND BLOWN HANGING KEROSENE / OIL LAMP FIXTURE
Up for auction I have a beautiful hand blown Cranberry 19th century pull down hanging parlor lamp with it's original hand blown font. This also has an early hand blown chimney and marked early brass burner. I would date this to the 1870's or 1880's. All of the glass parts are in excellent condition with no damage. The fitter ends of the shade have very minor(normal on these old lamps) flea bites. Most of the metal on this lamp is decorative stamped brass or cast brass. The font holder appears to be spring steel. The font has a"foot" that snaps into this spring steel holder perfectly. The old ladder style chain on this is made of steel and has minor surface rust. The chain rollers in the canopy are made of wood and are in good condition. this lamp raises and lowers nicely. The brass parts have a bit of tarnish(not to ... morebad) This lamp hangs down approx. 32" from the top of the canopy. The lamp could easily be shortened or lengthend by adding or subtracting chain. The shade is approx. 11" tall including the brass crown and brass font holder. Shade is approx. 7" in Dia. Good luck!

Unusual Heavy Oak Base approx 24" Long by 12" Wide and 2-1/2" High the top of the pump not including the rod is 22" Tall. It has a Heavy Cast Iron and wood handle 21" long with gold guilded painting and a Heavy duty Purple Huge/ Color Glass that looks like it could have bolted to the bottom plate. These two gorgeous early 20th century hand crafted cherry lamp tables or side tables with turned legs and ball feet came out of an old Charleston. SC estate where they were used together as a pair. Even though they are a bit different from each other, the woods and styles match, and they are close enough to certainly work in the same room, so I am offering them together. You can see these are both lovely pieces, sturdy and with a second shelf below which also serves as a stretcher for the legs. I've included a number of photographs in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, condition, construction and overall beauty of these fabulous old tables. The first of these two table stands 29 1/2 inches tall and it's table top is a single board measuring 16 3/4 inches by 16 1/4 inches. With carved edge trim. 1950's Hand Carved Carnelian Conch Sea Snail Shell Cameo Lamp Volcano Eruption
A beautiful historical scene in a relief image. The scene with flat roof buildings looks Greek or Italian. The thinner areas of the sky would be noticeable with an inner light. The carnelian shell is the shell most frequently used for cameo carving. Most carnelian shells originate in West Africa. Cameos carved from carnelian shell may be reddish-brown. Peach or orange. The shell cameo is threaded onto a base that appears to be made of bronze and consists of three winged metal legs tinged green. We believe this dates to the 1940s or 50s. It is about 8 1/2” high and weighs 1 lb 6.5oz. The bulb and electrical cord is missing. There is a flaked area near a tree in the scene, otherwise it is in very good condition. An amazing work of art.

Gorham Silver plate oil lamp antique vintage collectible hand blown glass globe
You are looking at a beautiful old oil lamp. One more item I have found packed away in a box I inherited from my grandmother. It is in great condition. It was kind of tarnished up when I unwrapped it but has polished up unbelievably beautiful. I am not sure if the glass globe is hand blown or not. It is in perfect condition with one very very faint scratch on the glass that you have to hold up to the light to see. It has a cut glass design on it of slash marks that go back and forth and then goes to a straight cut with a little ball on the end that goes up the glass. On the round stem piece it states made in USA Thomaston Conn. I believe it is probably in perfect working order however it will need a wick. Antique BULLDOG Mc GILL HAND HELD MOBILE TROUBLE LIGHT LAMP FIXTURE WOOD HANDLE
This vintage piece is believed to be a handheld trouble light. It h as a wooden handle. Which is hollow to allow the electrical cord to pass through. At the end of the handle is a copper collar-like piece which has holes where a shade of some sort obviously connects. In the center of this collar is a light socket. A switch on the underside of the collar easily operates the light. There is a label on the copper piece which is only partially legible. Identifying the piece as being a Mc Gill Bulldog Portable Light Guard. Piece is in fair condition; the wooden handle is stained and scarred, the copper is tarnished, and the cord has been cut off and must be re-wired. Working condition unknown. A very unique piece!

Antique Phoenix 880 hand-painted base and globe. This was originally an oil lightand was converted to electricity I believe in the 1950's. It does not have any cracks or chips that I could find. The top and bottom edges of the globe. Or shade, are rough as if hand ground and unpolished. The switch comes in at the middle of the light and I believe this should be rewired so a smaller switch it comes in near the base. Whoever wired this lamp made it so that both the base and top have light. The light measures 13" high x 6 1/2" wide(base piece) and the top is 9 1/2" in diameter by 8" high. Antique Fostoria GWTW Hand Painted Cosmos Flowers(I believe) Oil Lamp Base Cast iron foot is marked" FG" 617" If there is no bid in the first 24 hours we WILL put a reserve on it or END the auction. This GWTW oil lamp base is in great condition! See all pictures as they are part of our description! It measures approx 10 1/2" to the top of the brass rim. The cast foot is approx 6" square. The widest part of the font is approx 7 1/2" wide(at the two feathery leaf designs sticking out on the sides) The inside of the base. Where an oil pot sits(not included) is 4 3/4" in diameter by 3" deep. The glass base/font is in great shape and the colors include greens. Yellows, pinks and a touch of brown accents. There are some dirty spots and possibly some fading. It might come out nicer with a deeper cleaning and ... morepolishing, but will leave that up to the high bidder. I basically dusted it for pics. There are four seams on this glass font. The foot and the front/back don't line up squarely and you can see this in the first four pictures of the front and sides. There are raised feathery/leafy designs in the glass at the top and bottom edges and on the two sides. The two sides have a slightly different feathery/leafy design. There is also a wide swirled rib pattern in the glass. I believe the flowers are Cosmos flowers. Or something similar. I can see some heavy swirls in the glass. Which adds nice character. There are no cracks on this base. But I do see a chip which is on the rim where the oil pot liner sits, although the liner does not cover this rim very well. It could be possible this is not the original liner. The oil pot liner has some wear and some light surface rust. But that is usual for these old lamps. It is magnetic, so it is not brass. The brass connector between the foot and glass font is not magnetic and in good shape. It does have some wear to the finish. But no cracks. The cast iron foot has a slight rock to it. This is a nice antique hand oil lamp that is in great shape. I did some research on this lamp but was not able to find a maker. I did find similar shaped whale oil lamps in oil lamp books. But am not positive this one is of the same makers. This shape of whale oil lamp is most likely from the mid 1800's. This is considered a"syrup jug shape" and was phased out as use of kerosene approched in the late 1850's. The fact that these basic shapes were never revived is assurance that lamps of these types were not originally produced for burning kerosene. It goes on to say that"kerosene burners would now appear most inappropriate on any of'these' ... morelamps. And yet with the collar size the same as that of kerosene burners, it must have been a familiar sight in the homes of the 1860's to see these lamps equipped with kerosene burners and chimneys, burning the'brilliant and inexpensive new lighting fuel' This hand oil lamp measures approx 4" tall to the top of the collar. The font is approx 3 1/2" in diameter at the widest point which is the base(not including handle) I can see nice air bubbles. Cooling lines, hay marks, swirls and manufacturing flaws, all characteristics of old glass. I do not see any cracks on this oil lamp. There is a chip on the very bottom of the applied handle, where the end was applied with a tool(can be seen in picture 7. It will not hinder its use, its just chipped on the design. It is still attached just fine. I found it by feel, not by looking for it, of course once I felt it, then I could see it. There are some light scratches and wear from years of use. There is a considerable amount of wear to the bottom from years of service. Looks like it was a well liked lamp. There is a smooth pontil. There is only a small chip on the back of the pyramid shaped piece. The harp was added on new, as it is originally meant for a press on shade. Unique Antique Hand Made Brass on Copper Tea Kettle Electric Lamp
Antique. And very unique, Brass Plated Copper Tea Kettle that has been hand made into an electric lamp. This was a yard sale find and it could use some T.L.C. but works and looks great. Besides needing some pollishing& buffing, it has a few tea-looking stains on the left inside bottom of the shade as shown in picture#2. The stains are on the inside only and do not bleed through to the outside of the lamp shade. The left wooden handle is missing an end cap as shown in picture# 7. The Base has 5 cracks as shown in pictures#8. 9, 10. The soldering on the copper base plate to the base has been separated from the base but holds in place good and tight with the center lamp shaft nut as shown in picture#6. The lamp works well and stands nice and straight on the 4 Torchlight- claw feet(See Pics) The bottom of the kettle is stamped"MARK" ... morewith an emblem that I couldn't quite make out.
