Four of these tapes have labels which are shown in the pictures. These tapes seem to be in good condition, with very good sound quality and volume. The center is 3"in diameter. There is little if any wear on the metal parts and the EDM's have an excellent record of reliability. I still do a few jobs a year and I always keep one of these excellent Japanese Total Stations around for my own work. The difference between the Topcon GTS-303 and the GTS-303D is the 303 has vertical compensation while the 303D had horizontal and vertical compensation. Of the two. The vertical compensation is much more important than the horizontal. The 303 is one of my favorite total stations for construction work. The hat is made of 55% Dacron, 45% wool, and the Color of the 8 point crown is olive drab. Black patent leather bill, leather sweatband, open mesh imitation cane around base of crown, Authentic reproduction, including embroidered Texaco patch, and Texaco buttons on either side of bill.
