Up for auction I have this v intage and rare Ungar/ Eldon Motorized Astro 900 built model car from 1961. It is a snap and screw together model. It is in excellent condition with no cracks warps deep scratches or gouges in the body. It does have some chrome missing off of the bumpers and exhaust pipes. It also has a couple of batter y terminals miss ing and one of the battery terminal mounts is broken off and missing. Also one of the clamps that holds the motor in place on one side is missing and missing a gear that connects the axle to the engine. Also looks like it is missing a windshield for the passenger side. I have not tested the motor to see if it runs. The car looks like about 1/18 scale to me and is 10 5/8" long. It has steerable wheels. Please look at the pictures well to see what you will get. I tested it. The decals have not been applied. You also get instructions in good but tanning condition. There are some tears. The box is very nice and displayable. Some edge wear and creasing but no split corners. The only issue with the kit is the rudder has a broken shaft. This is a small part and the broken portion is present and can be reglued.
