It has been repaired and works great. the lens is a little older style(e-300 I believe it is a 17.5-45mm) was also repaired and functions properly as well. It's in nice shape and needs a new home. I'll include a battery. Charger and a 1gb XD card so it can be used right out of the box. I couldn't find a lens cap amongst the stuff I have laying around here and no strap. Tokina 17mm f/3.5 Lens for Olympus OM
No back cap. But original front cap. It was stored on a camera, so it hasn't been kept with no protection for the rear element. Some paint rubbing from use, but nice snappy diaphragm and clear glass. The only significant negative point is that the front filter ring and focusing ring need tightening- there is slight play. This doesn't seem to rotate the front element, so it muct be a retaining ring that needs tightening up. Otherwise, a rarish lens that offers ultra-wide angles to the Olympus OM user.

I was out of commission due to a very serious accident) After extensive research, I put together a complete Olympus system(invested almost 8k) with the intent to use it for sports& wildlife. The combination of the four thirds system, the 2.0 conversion factor, the excellence of the Zuiko digital lenses, and the fact that the system was built for digital from the ground up were big pluses. For outdoor applications the 2.0 conversion factor was amazing. A 200mm lens acts like a 400 mm lens, and greatly reduced the size and weight necessary to get the long shots. The Olympus E-1 professional body is very well constructed. Solid weather& dust sealed metal construction ... morewith rubberized areas that aid grip. Feels good in the hands. Locking battery door& memory card door. Locking mode knob. IEEE 1394. Usb, and video out. Uses CF cards. I was able to capture excellent images with this camera, and the Zuiko lenses are excellent. Comes with one battery. Two additional batteries listed separately. Power batter holder& grip SHLD-2, and BLL-1 battery charger are listed in another auction. The charger for the standard battery is AWOL, but if I can locate it, it will be included. Unfortunately. After only getting to use the system a few times, a critical accident put me out of commission. Several items& lenses have never even been out of the box. See other auctions for more great equipment.
