This decoy is part of a group of Art Marcy spearing decoys that have been packed in a box for over 10 years. They are nice looking, vintage decoys by a known, listed carver. This great looking Art Marcy Crappie measures 5" long. It is hand carved and hand painted in a nicely blended base color with accents in black and yellow. The fins are unpainted. Natural, old tin. It is in beautiful and original condition with light wear from storage and some light paint loss to the metal fins. The maker has signed this fish on the belly with his AM mark. This is an Early Old Antique Vintage Ice Fishing Tip-Up by Unknown Maker. The markings on the reel face are illegible.at least to my eyes. The original copper/Brass owner tag marked"Anthony Etes. 17 S. Franklin St. Saratoga, N.Y. It is approximately 19"x2"x3" folded& 17"x18" set up to fish with a 12" high flag. It has a good Brass Reel/Spool with Brass& Steel Trigger assembly& intact Fabric Flag on steel spring. It has wood cross members with a spool loaded with old black fishing line and a spinner/hook lure. It is in used condition with some stains& rubs, but please view the pics and you be the judge. VINTAGE ICE FISHING LURE JAPAN W/ORIGINAL BOX In this auction I am listing what I believe to be a vintage ice fishing lure. This is in the original box which is imprinted ICE FISHING LURE JAPAN. Lure is not branded with a name but to me it looks like a Minnow. Measures 3" end to end. Has 3 hooks, and is 1/2" thick at the widest place. I am not an expert on fishing lures and I do not know if this was ever used or not. The 3 hooks appear to be in good condition. No bending which might occur if this was used. Looks like some cracking along the sides but could be from use, or just aging. Still in good collectible condition and I would see no reason why it could not be used personally for fishing.
