This is an example of Jed's crazy use of CD's and whatever is around to make an attractive fish. 10" You be the Judge? Gold color with glitter. Glass eyes, and a Swiss Swing on the tail. 8" Burbot shape. But painted silver with yellow/red spots. I think this is an older one. These are all from Jed's personal stable of decoys.

Torch Lake. Michigan N. Pike w/spots, made from old knotty cedar wood tore out of a cottage that was built in the 1930's. by JCAS-06 on the lead poured for weight and by local carver Jim Scheibner. Is stamped and signed by the maker. This decoy is 26-1/2" long x 6-1/2" high x 1-1/2 thick. Weighs 3-1/2 lbs. Can be used for ice fishing, collecting or decoration.

What is unique about this decoy is the information and picture of the carver that I have available. It was made and used by Howard Winters from Capital Falls. Upper Michigan from the late 1940's-1950's. The bio with picture and interesting fishing tale is included with the decoy. The shop price on this piece was $295.00.
