With the flick of a switch you can choose from one power supply to the other. I have taken this project to the most professional and durable standard I have available. ALL hardware is stainless steel socket cap bolts to resist corrosion. The dry cell is a 21 plate set up as( n n n n +) The converter as shown is a Mean Well 50A output with a 115-230 selector. The CCPWM is Zero Fossil Fuel's version 2 capable of 50A. I have the recommended capacitor pack installed for the ccpwm although I do not believe it has been soldered together correctly. There is a 50A circuit breaker and amp meter shunt installed. And the bubblers ready for blow off devices and drain valves. I have a complete parts list in Excel. If you wish to view send me an e-mail address to send it to. What would be required of you is to wire the components together and install the piping from the cell to the bubblers/dryers. A lot has been done but a lot still needs to be completed. OR one could always use the components for their own project. This box will come as is with a parts list and no returns! Vintage Delta Redbird Dry Cell Lantern Circa 1965 Made By Delta Electric Company. Marion, Indiana USA This is a very nice and clean old vintage lantern. The paint has chipped off a tiny bit at the base and has faded in certain areas. The inside is clean and rust-free. The measurements are: 7 3/4" tall up to 11 1/4" with the handle up. A little under 5" from the front of the glass lens to the folded in back handles- handles come out another 1 1/2" The glass lens is 4" in diameter. This is a very unusual display plaque of parts from the Chloride of Silver Dry Cell Battery Co. of Baltimore. MD. It says C. 1750 over the Company name plate. Oval measures 2 3/4" high by 3 5/8" long. I know they made some of the most well known quack medicine electrical equipment in the 19th/20th century. A great display if you collect antique medical equipment made by them or any other Co. It appears to be NOS. Please look closely at the pictures and ask questions if needed, before you bid. Davis and Kidder's Patent Magneto-Electric Machine and a Dry Cell Device
Here we have two grand examples of the height of modern patent medicine technology from the 19th Century. I found the Davis and Kidder's Patent Magneto-Electric Machine in the attic of my 1825 built farmhouse when I took possession. The Dry Cell device was found in the attic of another house I was cleaning out. Here is what you get: The Davis and Kidder's Patent Magneto-Electric Machine in the condition shown in the pictures. The belt is actually a leather thong. I have cranked the machine quite rapidly but I was unable to get a voltage reading. If you feel the need to treat your Nervous Diseases with this machine. You will have to clean the contacts and probably re-energize the magnet. The magnet is still magnetic, though not as strong as it was when new. The key to the lock is missing. The handle on the crank is missing and there ... moreis a bend in the arm. Take a close look at the pictures. You also get the two finger cups and wires with the eyehole pins on the ends. The pins originally were split and have lost one half of the split shaft. You can see this in the pictures. The patent date of the machine is August 1, 1854 according to the label with the instructions and April 18, 1854 according to the box stamp. The second item is a box with much the same purpose as the machine. It is a nice wooden box that has seen worse treatment. But contains batteries to store electricity to be delivered for the same therapeutic purposes as the machine. The controls appear to be all there, but there is a battery missing under the top half cover. There is no data plate and I chose not to disassemble it to see what all the writing on the big battery was about. This item has no electrical charge and I would be shocked if it would take or hold one. Based upon a rolled up piece of news print found in side, dated May 5th, 1904, it is obviously a 19th Century relic. Near Mint, Working 1924 Grebe MU-2 Dry Cell Set w/Battery Box * Great Provenance

And for the first time in a long time, I'm listing two"buy-it-now" lots, both of them quite exceptional. Here's a gorgeous. Working Grebe MU-2 Synchrophase radio, the only dry cell Synchrophase set Grebe ever made, and a radio that was manufactured only briefly at the beginning of the 1st Synchrophase production run. The radio was sold with a factory-built cabinet/pedestal in which to house its batteries, and its rheostats were designed to accomodate the current and voltage of UX-99 tubes rather 01A's. You'll probably see a hundred or more MU-1 radios before you'll see a single MU-2, so I think it's fair to say that the MU-2 is a special set. This particular MU-2 is even more special than ... morethe others. The radio. Battery box and paperwork were formerly on permanent display at the Indiana Historic Museum in Ligonier IN, where they were the centerpiece of that fabulous collection and the pride and joy of the museum's well-known curator Fred Schultz. Condition is excellent. As you can see in the photographs. The faux-mahogany bakelite panel is nearly perfect(it actually looks like mahogany, maybe even better) and the gold-plated escutcheons still gleam. The finish on both the radio and the battery box is original, with only scattered marks consistent with age, authenticity, and gentle handling. The chassis is spotless, and the green binocular coils are almost like new. The audio transformers are original and both of them are good. The wiring is pristine, and there is no rust or other damage anywhere. The interior yellow serial number card is clean and legible throughout, with no damage or stains. The battery hook-up sheet was removed from the underside of the base(probably when the radio was originally set-up by the dealer) but I'll include a battery wiring diagram with it, so that the radio can be easily used an ARBEIII or other regulated DC power supply. Working Grebe MU-2 Synchrophase radio, the only dry cell Synchrophase set Grebe ever made, and a radio that was manufactured only briefly at the beginning of the 1st Synchrophase production run. The radio was sold with a factory-built cabinet/pedestal in which to house its batteries, and its rheostats were designed to accomodate the current and voltage of UX-99 tubes rather 01A's. You'll probably see a hundred or more MU-1 radios before you'll see a single MU-2, so I think it's fair to say that the MU-2 is a special set. This particular MU-2 is even more special than the others. ... moreThe radio. Battery box and paperwork were formerly on permanent display at the Indiana Historic Museum in Ligonier IN, where they were the centerpiece of that fabulous collection and the pride and joy of the museum's well-known curator Fred Schultz. Condition is excellent. As you can see in the photographs. The faux-mahogany bakelite panel is nearly perfect(it actually looks like mahogany, maybe even better) and the gold-plated escutcheons still gleam. The finish on both the radio and the battery box is original, with only minor scattered marks consistent with age, authenticity, and gentle handling. The chassis is spotless, and the green binocular coils are almost like new. The audio transformers are original and both of them are good. The wiring is pristine, and there is no rust or other damage anywhere. The interior yellow serial number card is complete, undamaged and legible throughout. The battery hook-up sheet was removed from the underside of the base(probably when the radio was originally set-up by the dealer) but I'll include a battery wiring diagram with it, so that the radio can be easily used an ARBEIII or other regulated DC power supply. An antique portable shock therapy machine with original 1910 Columbia Dry Cell batteries. This piece dates between 1910 and 1920 and was available to the general public at department stores and local smaller shops for treatment of many different ailments though it was not effective as many thought it gives a section of history and instruments known as quake medicine. This particular machine is made of Oak and has wonderful finger jointed corners there is a brass carrying handle and 2 hooks that hold sections together there is a separate box with 3 compartments for storage of the batteries that has red straps to hold down batteries. The directions are on top section when opened and there is a storage bin to hold all parts when transporting or storing. The batteries are Columbia Dry Cell batteries no.6 Pat. 1910 and I believe are original there ... moreare many batteries out there that look like this but these are very early examples that were made only 10 years after Columbia started producing batteries. Columbia which eventually became Energizer made these batteries for everything from medical devices to automobiles. Kind of a scary notion being hooked up to your car battery haha. The machine itself is in excellent shape and all wires appear to be good not dried out I believe this machine will actually work if hooked up to new battery I was not brave enough to test and I do not recommend but if buyer does try let me know how it turns out.
