The crystal does have a crack which can be seen in the pictures, The watch runs but will need servicing. The band, case, and movement all look to be in exceptional condition. This is an OVERHUNG LOAD ADAPTER that is in excellent condition with few hours of use. It is made to extend the load carrying capability of hydraulic wheel motors. The massive roller bearing enables side load pressures well beyond the limits of standard hydraulic wheel motors. The load adapter is mounted on the outside of the body and extends the wheel hub 8-1/2 inches away from the body. The hydraulic motor is mounted inside the body. The 4-bolt pattern of the hydraulic motor matches that of the load extender. Silicone sealer is used between the body& motor and between the body and load adapter to keep out any water. It accepts a 1.25 in. diameter. 14-splined shaft from the hydraulic motor. The hub accepts a 5-hole wheel rim with 4-1/4 inch spacing between non-adjacent studs. This part i ncludes the front grill. Steering wheel, 2 wheel hubs and axle. The parts are in good condition; the steering wheel part is missing the wind shield but it could be used for just the steering wheel. The tires are cracked but one can get replacements on ebay; the hubs and axle are good. The grill is solid with both head lights: there is usage wear. The broken body part is worthless but I will leave the parts together for the new owner to disassemble. The grill and hubs fits any of the cars in the set. I dont know if this is complete. Looks like it is all there. There is no manual or parts list. Both motors do work. One of the cords feels a little weathered. A little cracking around the plug with a little of the wire showing. The box is rusted on the top but is in great shape on the inside. Whats pictured is what you get. The lug holes look good. It has been sand blasted and primed with self etching primer. WWII Part - General Motors TBM "Avenger" tail wheel strut main housing + parts
TBM"Avenger" Tailwheel strut piece Here's a stripped and used upper tail wheel strut housing and single gear scissor as removed from a WWII era TBM"Avenger" torpedo bomber. It's incomplete and used and had been abused. I suspect this piece was removed the the airplane after an improper towing job that resulted in damage to the entire tailwheel strut. It looks as if the unit was torn apart and the lower fork and cylinder ram removed entirely from the upper housing. I don't know what happen to those pieces. This came from the hydraulics room of Air Response of Mesa. AZ that owned and operated a fleet of aerial application(spray) Avengers back in the 1960s through 1980s. Operating as Globe Air or Aviation Specialties, they maintained and operated a fleet of Avengers that worked for several decades throughout the ... moreUnited States before they sold their last"Turkey" sometime in the mid 1980s. The business finally closed down a few years ago. And this was one of the parts in their vast hydraulics inventory. I didn't see any parts tags on this unit to describe condition or information regarding the ship it had come from, but it would have been unusual for the firm to have kept"junk" parts in inventory over the years. Close inspection of the unit reveals some damage to the upper scissor assembly and lower attach bolt on this unit. The scissor has a slight twist to it and the mid section bolt is damage- a sure sign that someone had the tailwheel get away from them when moving the airplane on the ground. Having moved a"Turkey" before, I can attest that there's a real art to proper ground management of this heavy airplane with towbar and tug, and when the tailwheel isn't cooperating it makes it all the more difficult. I have not inspected the upper strut piece other than to note it's got some light surface rusting inside the cylinder well. I don't see any damage to the internal threads where the packing nut would have kept upper and lower cylinde

The emblem is made of brass and featured raised detail to the face and has three lugs which attaches it the the bakelite style surround. The brass emblem measures about 1 5/16" or 354 mm in overall diameter and the bakelite style surround measures about 2 5/8" or 76 mm in diameter. The part number 262957 is cast on the rear of the surround. The brass centre emblem badge remains in excellent condition and the bakelite style surround is damaged/broken at the rear raised fittings however the surface of the front face is undamaged and would polish up nicely. An Original 1928 Durant Motors Blueprint and 1 original carbon copy of a letter From The Greb Co. Stoughton Mass, requesting information on threads and number of threads per inch in hub and axle shafts for the Various Flint Models from 1925- date. There is one large blueprint measuring 29 x 21. It has two illustrations. It is of the rear hub 4 hole wire wheel and I believe the hub. The blueprint colors are bold and the details are clear. It has some creasing from being folded. The edges are near perfect with the exception of a small tear along the edge of the left no more than 1/4 inch in and a bend in the top left corner that will sit down when framed. The Carbon copy of a letter included in this auction is from The Greb Company, Stoughton Massachusetts. It is in poor shape but the logo and letter is all there.
