The bell is in the form of a woman in a fancy dress. A typical bell form for its time. The dress part is decorated with flowers and scrolls. The bottom of the bell is marked with the leopards head for London. The lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter a for the year 1896 and a makers mark for Maurice Freeman. The clapper or ringer is also marked with hallmarks, but they are hard to read because of the placement. This piece is in excellent condition. Especially for its age. Vintage or Antique Hall Borchert Adjustable Cast Iron Paw Foot Dress Form
This is a truly great old dress form stand. It does not have the actual form. It is just the stand for it. I think some people repurpose these for lamps or bird cages and it would be very unique for either one. The old cast iron base has embossing on each leg. They are embossed with Hall Borchert Dress Form Co. New York, and Chicago. The paw feet sit on top of small casters for rolling the form around. There is an old cast iron pedal that is in working condition and is used to release the lock for raising and lowering the stand. The iron pole at it's lowest point is 40 inches from the floor to the tip. When raised to its maximum height it is 65.5 inches from the floor. The cast iron base of the stand measures about 18 inches from the tip of one foot to the tip of the opposite foot, just to give you an idea of the size. It was made by the company" Seven Continents Enterprises" I am unsure of the age. There is a adjustable lever under the top portion as shown in photo 4. It measures approximately 46 inches tall. You turn the lever forward to tighten and toward yourself to loosen and then slide to the desired height, then turn forward to tighten/secure the position. 1909 ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE DISPLAY DRESS FORM METAL SKIRT CAGE BOTTOM ACME? VINTAGE
1909 ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE DISPLAY DRESS FORM METAL SKIRT CAGE BOTTOM Very cool old early 1900s French or Victorian looking adjustable dress form with metal cage. Its in well used condition with a lot of wear and some rust as seen in pics. The bottom cage has folding hinges that would allow it to expand out for hoop skirts. Stc. Construction is metal frame with wood panels covered in fabric. Adjustments are done via wingnuts and slides. Loosen the wingnut. Slide the panel to desired position and tighen wingnut. The collar is adjustable too via unscrewing/tightening the large silver metal finial on top. The finial is bent a little to one side, but still screws/unscrews just fine. Unknown manufacturer. Though it looks a lot like some of the Acme brand forms I am finding in researching this one. The only tag I found is a brass one on the bottom ... morehem reading: Patented Jan.15.1909" This dress form could be useable with some lubricating as the wingnuts are not frozen and do move. As do the slide adjustment tracks, but they are stiff and not all easy to move. I think it would be better used as a stunning display for vintage items. Scarves, pins, clothes, purses, etc- your imagination is the limit! No funky smells or mold detected. I measured the waist with all adjustments at smallest and it comes to approx 22" so this is a small size. Height is 4'5" 53" Note cage is missing the roller stand these usually have so it could certainly be adjusted taller if you add a roller bottom. As is it is a great height/size for use as a display piece or maybe set up on a short table. Although certainly very old. It seems to be very sturdy. Since it doesn't come apart. I was told the material it is made from is stone or clay and has some pitting which makes it that much more cool(supposed to be there) It is such a beautiful and shabby chic piece. Dimensions are 24.5 inches tall X 7 inches wide(at it's widest) and sideways or deep it' s approx. 3.5 inches. This can be used as a decorative piece. Which I did for awhile. Various fading in the bodice. Otherwise PERFECT! Metal Zipper. The deco clasp at the bodice is just clipped on and can be easily removed if you like. As is the dress also not attached to the body of the dress form. The Dress form itself is vintage and made of styrofoam. I created the coloring on the form. Which is vintage greens with a gold rub. There is a tiny hole in the back middle right hand side on the grey knit fabric that is covering the torso. Included with this unique mannequin is a beautifully made stand. This stand is adjustable so it can be used on the floor or up on a shelf. Fully extended. It stands 4 foot 8 inches tall, and fully lowered it stands about 3 foot 5 inches tall. OLD WOMENS PLUS SIZE CLOTH DRESS FORM - "TENNUS" MODEL FORM CO N.Y- MODEL 1947
This old cloth covered dress form. Made in New York by Tennus Model Form Co. is in good clean vintage condition, a little bit of stains on the bust and one small tear on the back. The cardboard under the bust has been crushed a little, could be fixed by taking off the top and remold it back from the inside. It is a woman's plus size 40 and it is 35 1/2" tall and has the holes for a stand but looks good on a counter/table. The Model 1947 is most likely the year it was made.

VINTAGE ANTIQUE ADJUSTABLE DRESS FORM LADY MANNEQUIN WITH STAND (ACME???)
First I would like to tell you I do not know anything about this item. She seems to be in very nice condition. You can see from the pictures the fabric is not tore and is whole free. All of the adjustment wing nuts are there and she does open up some. I closed her up to take pictures. I did find the mount for the adjustment slide of the right breast(left side when looking at her) came loose from the body. I marked this in one picture with blue tape. That is the only flaw I know of. The stand comes in 2 pieces and will be shipped taken apart. I see other listings calling the base cast iron. I would call it heavy bent steel. Please look at the pictures and ask questions if you have them. Sorry. I know the shipping is expensive. This is an oversized package.
