These would be gorgeous for a vintage theme wedding~ One is stamped"Van Raalte. 7, Elegant, All Cotton except ornamentation, Sewn in Philippines" They measure 9 1/4" in total length(from cuff to middle fingertip) 3" across the widest part of the knuckles. They fit me very well. I wear a 6 1/2 to 7 in gloves. Vintage 50s 60s LOT White Cotton & Nylon Dress Gloves KAYSER - VAN RAALTE
Today I have a vintage lot of six pairs of white gloves. Most are of a nylon based fabric with one sily nylon Van Raalte fabric. Each is described below: Van Raalte Buttery Nylon gloves in a size 7. They have beautiful tiny pearls and gathering on top of cuffs(pictured) and measure 8.5 inches from middle finger to cuff bottom. the cuff is 3.25 inches wide at bottom, Beautiful gloves worth the price alone! Kayser gloves in a size 8.5(hard to find size! in a soft cotton blend fabric. It has scalloped stitching at cuff and down one side and around the fingers. Triple seamed on top. These measure 10 inches middle finger to cuff and cuff is slightly flared across is 4 inches. Next is 2 pairs of unmarked gloves in white cotton fabric. both have a snap at the cuff bottom with triple seamed on top. They measure 9 inches middle finger to bottom cuff ... moreand are 3 inches wide at cuff snap closed. A nice pair of Stretch Nylon gloves in a size 7.5 to 8.5. pretty scalloped stitching on cuffs with an open vent. these show some light wear and still lovely. Measures 9.5 inches from middle finger to cuff and 3 inches at cuff but of course a little more room is available due to venting on sides. Lastly we have a long pair of unmarked gloves in what feels like a cotton blend. Mid arm length they have a zig zag type stitching on top and extra room at the point of the wrist and forearm. Measures 12 inches middle finger to cuff and does have some stitching coming out on top seam but still a very wearable gloves.

Three pairs of white gloves. One is decorated with beading while the other two are decorated with embroidery. One pair is nylon. Two are cotton. All three are off-white or ivory color. All three are slightly dingy from storage. One has a tiny amount of foxing and an easily repairable split seam at the wrist where a tag was probably removed. There is no damage to the fabric at the split. One pair is brand new with tags. They are all either size 7 or 7 1/2. CONDITION- This auction is for this lot of 3 vintage ladies' dress gloves. The first- and longest- pair are the 3/4 lenth white. Gathered, nylon gloves- size 6. These have been lightly used and show no visible signs of wear and tear, except for very slight off-color on the fingertips. These gloves had the tag removed. The 2nd white pair was made by Tru-Fit, is a size 6, and also have been used, as is evidenced by the softness of the cotton. There are lined seams along the back of the gloves and ... morethey are 1/4 arm length. There is slight off-coloring on the fingertips of these, as well. The third pair are off-white and made of heavy, high-quality, super-soft"dress" cotton. 2 Pair Vintage Women's Cotton Dress Faux Pearl Accents Gloves 1 Pink 1 White
Up for bid are two pairs of vintage gloves. One is white cotton with a cuff decorated with 3 tiny pearl buttons. The other is pink with an open cuff held together by a faux pearl. The white one fits my hands that have very long fingures however the pink are small and although i was told they were women's they may actually be for an older girl. I can put them on but they are short and tight. I have been trying to sell baseball cards and 45 records the last few months with no luck. So back to what I know.
