PROPANE NATURAL GAS GENERATOR CONVERSION HONDA GX620K1 Adaptor, Kit, v-twin 20hp
This is the adapter used between the air filter and carburetor for a honda gx620K1 v-twin 20 hp engine. I also have the air filter and complete carb/fuel pump/intake assembly for the GX620K1 engine. What you see in this picture is what you get. Im not sure what else is involved in setting this up for natural gas. I pulled this from a gx620K1 engine that was used ona water pump. The electric clutch on the motor shaft seized so i parted it out. Check out my other items or message me. Again. This is the only part that i am aware of that is for the natural gas conversion. I did not get anything else that is supposed to be upstream of the hose and adaptor.

Want to do your own motor conversion? I happened across a few motors headed for the recyclers and when I took a look at them I knew they were the perfect item for a conversion. I bought this kit two years ago, attached it to my Tecumseh 10 HP Generac generator, but stopped when I couldn’t get the propane line extended to where it needed to go on my property. There has never been propane run through it, so the kit is as-new, mounted but never used. As you can see from the photos. The brass fittings are mounted on the regulator to the configuration I needed, but they are easily changed. The kit is complete as it came from US Carburetion. This Type 2 Kit runs off of high pressure propane. Which means it connects after the house propane tank regulator, between the tank and the house. It can also be used with a portable propane tank using an adapter, not included. This kit was purchased from Alternate Fuels Technologies Inc. You can find the web site under PropaneCarbs. I used this kit only a couples times. I have no need for it now since I have a fix natural gas generator. The kit comes with the basic conversion parts and also with the shutoff switch. The SHUTOFF VALVE IS NOT INCLUDED. I used this kit on an Honeywell HW7500 generator. I suggest to use this kit on a 7 to 9kW generator. Honda EU2000i Portable generator With Garritson Propane Conversion Kit installed This Honda EU2000i Portable generator is in excellent condition. It has only been used for a couple of deer seasons by my father and has been well cared for and well maintained. I would say it has no more than 100 hours total on it. It also has a Garritson Propane conversion kit installed which allows you use propane instead of gasoline. You can change this back to gasoline but I have never done this because the propane is so much easier. It will come with the regulator and 8 feet of hose and is ready to go. You only need to hook it up to a propane tank. No tank is included sorry. Once hooked up to a tank you must only push the prime button on the back of the regulator connected to the generator and start the engine.
