Vintage Labawco P-126 Pump 2400 GPH- Good Condition Please review the photos. I can tell the pump has been out of the box and moved around over time causing the paint chips. The only indentation on the shaft is from me installing a pulley to hand turn the pump to ensure is works. The design is pretty cool and well built. There is no barb attachment for the water outlet. Requires electric or gas powered motor using a pulley or coupling to operate. Although the intended purpose is for water transfer or removal. For me, it's more of a collector's item as most of these Labawco 126 pumps for sale have been dutifully used. It is two shades of wood measuring 11 x 20" with notations on the back. It is signed Andre A and noted by a parent or tutor that he was 14 when he carved it. Off Hatteras Inlet. It was published in Harper's Weekly. February 15, 1862. A powerful northeaster storm struck the mid-Atlantic coast between 12 and 15 January 1862. The Burnside Expedition fleet confronted strong winds and warm weather as it rounded Cape Henry bound for Hatteras Inlet. Ships thus sailed independently to Hatteras in face of the storm. And ships arrived at Hatteras at various times beginning 12 January. The 600-ton screw steamer City of New York arrived outside Hatteras Inlet the morning of 12 January, but waited at sea for a persistent fog to clear. The seas and winds grew rougher ... moreand stronger, and the steamer struck a shoal fifteen times trying to cross the bar. On the sixteen attempt, the steamer grounded again, with waves overtaking the ship and wrecking two large deck-boats. The print measures 13 1/2" x 20" With ample margins for framing.
