Up for sale is the Trimble GeoExplorer 50950-20 GeoXT Handheld GPS with the pictured accessories. Pictured unit is the actual unit for sale. I plugged this unit in to my car to test it and could access the shown screens/pictures 3-7. I was able able to connect to what appeared to 4 satellites(top of picture 4) I do not have much experience with this item so I could not fully test it but it appeared to show coordinates. The battery will most likely need to be replaced it did not seem to hold much of a charge however I did not charge it for very long. PLEASE NOTE: The screen seems to be scratched badly or something. Please look at picture 10 to see exactly what I am describing. The screen damage/scratches did not seem to affect the touch. I was able to click around and change menus without any issues at all. You would be hard-pressed to find one of these units in better condition- it even has the original stylus! This was used up until the day I purchased a new 6000 series and has been well cared for. Includes: Handheld GPS unit Docking/Charging Station DC Charging Adapter USB Cable Soft Case Pelican Case Original Stylus Terrasync V. 3 Pathfinder Office V. 4 There are always several of these for sale on Ebay. The prices seem good but few offer the hard carrying case and even fewer include working Trimble software along with the hardware. Check the content of other listings carefully since purchasing a new Terrasync license currently costs around $1.200 and without it, the unit is pretty much an expensive yellow brick. It should be noted that this installation of Terrasync/Pathfinder is no longer under service so it cannot be upgraded or changed. ... moreHowever. I recently got this as part of an estate and brought it to a local electronics dealer just to find out what it was and had them test it to see if it was working: I have been contacted by a fellow seller that says this is a 2003 but all the stuff I'm seeing says 2005. This unit is in excellent condition with TerraSync on a 1GHZ CPU/576 RAM 4.3 inch display Windows 6.5 mobile device. Also included is a L1/L2 patch antenna that typically gets 0.5 foot resolution in the open after post processing. Real time SBAS typically better than 1.5 meter resolution with the included patch antenna. With a Zephyr antenna(not included) better than 1 meter resolution SBAS in the open. And 1 to 6 inches in the open and 6 inches to 1.4 foot under the canopy after post process. This was used this in many condition types. In the open and under the canopy and gotten excellent results with it. Well taken care of, never dropped or banged around. A couple minor scratches. Original box. Screen very good(screen protector used) in original box and with all original equipment(charger, cradle, case, Windows Mobile CD, etc. and includes a GeoBeacon for enhanced field accuracy(real-time correction) GeoBeacon includes charger(charger not shown in picture) This equipment was bought new and used sparingly in our engineering office. And was well cared for. The only known problem we had was in transferring data through the cradle to a PC- we never spent much time troubleshooting this, as it was easy to just remove the memory card from the unit, and transfer the data that way. I have a 2008 Geo XH in great shape. The XH Geo is the top of the line with sub-foot accuracy. Housing have no scratches or cracks in them. Touch screen is clear. Screen holds calibration. Perimeter gasket in great shape. GPS Controller locks SVs with a high satellite count and low PDOP. Charge light properly goes from amber to green at full charge. Battery drains and charges correctly. Geo comes with cradle/charger and brand-new soft case.
