Up for sale is the Trimble GeoExplorer 50950-20 GeoXT Handheld GPS with the pictured accessories. Pictured unit is the actual unit for sale. I plugged this unit in to my car to test it and could access the shown screens/pictures 3-7. I was able able to connect to what appeared to 4 satellites(top of picture 4) I do not have much experience with this item so I could not fully test it but it appeared to show coordinates. The battery will most likely need to be replaced it did not seem to hold much of a charge however I did not charge it for very long. PLEASE NOTE: The screen seems to be scratched badly or something. Please look at picture 10 to see exactly what I am describing. The screen damage/scratches did not seem to affect the touch. I was able to click around and change menus without any issues at all. You would be hard-pressed to find one of these units in better condition- it even has the original stylus! This was used up until the day I purchased a new 6000 series and has been well cared for. Includes: Handheld GPS unit Docking/Charging Station DC Charging Adapter USB Cable Soft Case Pelican Case Original Stylus Terrasync V. 3 Pathfinder Office V. 4 There are always several of these for sale on Ebay. The prices seem good but few offer the hard carrying case and even fewer include working Trimble software along with the hardware. Check the content of other listings carefully since purchasing a new Terrasync license currently costs around $1.200 and without it, the unit is pretty much an expensive yellow brick. It should be noted that this installation of Terrasync/Pathfinder is no longer under service so it cannot be upgraded or changed. ... moreHowever.
