This is a 1890 $2 Treasury Note with the ornate back. If you just want a plain old treasury note. This is not the note for you. You want the 1891 note that is cheaper with the plain back. This is a much tougher and more desirable note. The Freidberg number is 356. This note is graded Good 6 from PCGS. You don't have to take my word for the grade of the note. You just have to trust PCGS. What does this note have to do with the Wizard of Oz? Back around the turn of the 19th century there was a big debate concerning currency in the United States. A couple of them have a little bit of pitting due to their age, but that does not in any way detract from their beauty. One of them is engraved with“Papa” and one has“JRB” Another one has a blank spot where a name can be engraved. They are all around the same size; ranging from 1” to 1 ¾” tall and 1 ½” to 1 ¾” wide. 6 sterling silver cup holders, 2 lenox inserts
There are six cupsholders and 2 inserts. The cupholders are in perfect shape. The inserts are available on ebay at various prices. The cups are 2 high by 21/8 wide, the inserts are 21/4 wide at the top and 2 1/8 high. The cups are monogrammed but it is hard to read and looks like they could almost be polished away but I do not know this as I am not a silversmith. I think the initials are FE(my grandmother who was born at the turn of the century) When I looked up the wreath stamped on the bottom. I found Watson&Co. I weighed the silver on my portable scale and came up with 7.26 oz/225.9 grams

Here we have an earlier pitcher or jug made by CCC Pottery(Canadian Ceramic Craft) A stunning piece. With hues of lighter and darker greens on an olivey base. It has a bulbous or"chubby" appearance. Measures approx. 6 1/2" tall and has a 1 3/4" diameter opening. Approx. 4 1/2" across the widest point of the middle and is 5 3/4" from the edge of the handle to the opposite side of the jug. This piece is in excellent gently pre-owned condition. Free of any chips, nicks or cracks from what I can see. There are a couple of scratches present here and there.
