Vintage& unusual. Scarce SHIMANO MODEL BW 2602 BULLWHIP FIGHTIN' ROD of approx 72" OAL, still in very good overall condition, from back in the 1980s era we'd guess. This Bullwhip Fightin' Rod is designed for spin casting of course, and is composed of black graphite, with blank full length tapered from tip to butt. Rod features six(6) high quality ceramic ring guide of the era plus Shimanos proprietary reel seat of black resin fitted with SS clad, screw-down locking ring plus finger grip projection on lower side for sure grip when casting, and has a black foam rubber aft grip capped with a black rubber butt snub as well.See Photos) Unusual for the full length taper of the Rod of course, the gorgeous gray-black graphite is clear coated and the ring guides are affixed with black wraps. This Shimano Bullwhip Rod It is a two-piece ... moremodel which appears to come apart at the first/ largest ring guide, but a modest twist& pull on our part has failed to budge it, and we will leave the seperation to the buyer. The abbreviated foam grip with reel foot just above measures about 10 3/4" with NO fore grip, and we surmise that your hand simplywraps around the 7/8" dia. sectionof the Rod if necessary, and the reel foot will certainly handle any"hang down" style spin reel foot up to approx. 3 1/4" in length. Used Red Sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Protien Skimmer Foam Fractionator 300 Gallons
Up for auction I have a Red sea Prizm Pro Deluxe Protien Skimmer. This item is used and was part of a large lot of aquarium supplies I purchased. I only have freshwater tanks. So this is of no use to me. The skimmer has some minor issues that do not effect function. When I received the skimmer, the pump was siliconed to the main body of the skimmer. I took it apart figuring that it was just a bad o-ring. Not sure why you would use silicone to fix a cheap o-ring. Anyway, when I pulled it apart, there was one o-ring that was cut through. I had some laying around and tried one that fit but was a little thicker. Works good, fits tight and does not leak. I ran it for about 4 hours and then let is sit for about two more. Not one drop of water. The only problem is it looks kind of ugly where I cleaned off what I could of the slicone, as seen in ... morepictures 3 and 4. Also as you can see in picture 4 the bottom of the pump was sealed with silicone, not sure why it would even leak there, the pump is submersable, and it does not leak. Anyway as you can see I left that alone, I figured whoever buys it could mess with that if they want. I was more worried about the seal betwen the pump and the unit. The surface skimmer has some cracked slats at the top, all of the pieces are intack. I left that for the buyer to take care of with whatever glue they desire, easily fixable. There is supposed to be an o-ring between the collection cup and the main body. I don't have one that big so you will need to get one, $4.95 on Ebay. Also there is supposed to be a clamp to hold the suction pipe in place right above the pump. I have not been able to find that, if I do I will add it to the listing. It works fine without it though, even before I changed the o-ring. I think that is it, sounds like a lot of problems, but I wanted to be clear and honest. It really does work good and most of the problems are just cosmetic and it hangs on the back or on/in your sump so it won't even be seen. If I had saltwater I would have no problem using it. T

Measures 21 inches wide and approx 72 inches long with pillow. Pillow inflates manually. You can see how it is curled up before opening the valves, then it sucks the air in by itself. I believe that the mat is free of holes/leaks, as it was left several days this way inflated and layed on. The self inflating feature is nice and of course you can add additional air blowing into the valves.
