Here is a lot of two stuffed toy A&W root beer bears. Which each measure about 6-1/2 inches tall. They are both in excellent condition, with no evidence of having been played with. The orange one has a tag that says copyright 1997 by A&W, and is made by Alpha Kids. Someone neatly cut the tag off the green one, but based on the logo on its shirt, it is probably a little newer than the orange one, but not by much because I've had these for many years. This is a good quality microscope that is a little larger(9.25" and heavier(2.5lbs) than the ones Santa brought home for young aspiring scientists. It comes with a case and two(10x 15x) eyepieces. Various objective and eyepiece combinations give 80x. 120x, 200x, 300x, 400x and 600x. It comes with a wooden case as illustrated. Manufacture in Japan is assumed but there are no marks to indicate country of origin. My guess is this was an elementary school microscope or a higher-quality home toy.

Two Shillings and Sixpence, or simply Two& Six as we used to call them, dated 1928. It features a Horse(a hunter) on the reverse and a Harp, Date and Saorstat Éireann on the obverse. Talk to any Irish child of the sixties and they will all have their favourite halfcrown story. This usually involves a favourite uncle and the first time they ever got a present of a halfcrown! They are substantial coins- larger than an American half dollar. Made from 75% silver this Two Shillings and Sixpence is in Brilliant Uncirculated GEM condition. Most 1928 uncirculated coins became toned as the coins in the original sets issued in 1928 were completely unprotected- unlike ... morethis SUPERB example.
