Vintage Stroh Brewery Co. Stainless Steel Beer Keg 15.5 gal #24
Old Stainless Steel 15.5 Keg Stroh Brewery Co Worn from use with lots of scratches and dents. The side has no wooden bung in the bung hole. It was removed to drain the small amount of old beer that was left in it. Keg may have a vinegar odor because evidently that's what beer turns into after 20 odd years. They used to remove the bung from the bung hole. Clean the keg, refill with beer and put in a new wooden bung with a mallet. The bung hole itself is smooth(unthreaded) and is 2" in diameter. All kegs(both 15.5 gal and 7.75 gal) used to have the same size bung. New style kegs are cleaned and filled through the hole on top by removing the ball valve. Replacement bungs are available at for $1 ea. This keg was purchased several years ago from a brewery that was changing over to the newer style kegs. This one had a yellow band painted ... morearound the middle but it's mostly worn off now. There is an extra fitting at the base of this one that isn't on any of the kegs I have left. Marked The Stroh Brewery Co 12-68 on top. It measure about 22 tall x 16 dia. and weighs 34 lbs. This keg will be shipped USPS. As is, with a label on it.

15.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Keg welded to a 2" Tri Clover Fitting
Includes: 1) 15.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Keg(2) 2" Tri Clover Fitting- 1 is welded to the keg(1) 2" gasket(1) 2" Tri clamp Measurements: Height = 23 1/2" Diameter = 15 1/2" Weight = 30 Lbs. 2" Tri Clover Fitting: Length = 1.125" and is made out of 304 stainless I cut the keg tap to allow the 2" tri clover fitting to fit in the hole and had my local welder weld the 2" tri clover fitting to the keg. You can use a beer keg without this fitting. But getting a good seal can be hard to get because of the notches left from the old tap fitting. The 2" tri clover fitting also allows you to use a gasket and locking clamp for a very tight seal, which come with this keg. This listing is for one 15.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Keg Still. Item details: Perfect for moonshine. Microbrew, and many other uses. It has all been hand crafted with 20+ years of professional metal work expertise. Welds are all smooth to the touch and air tight. Plasma cut used NOT saws-all. Food grade SS soldering to weld keg together. Also, comes with pre-welded 2" pipe to 2" ferrule which fits onto the pre-welded 2" ferrule attached to keg. Along with the specifically made gasket, attaching the pipe to the keg with the tri clamp fitting makes for a COMPLETELY air tight seal. 15.5 Gallon Stainless Steel Keg - Used - Pressure Tested!
Used and Pressure Tested 1/2 BBL Beer Kegs! This auction is for 1 15.5 Gallon(56.7 Liter) stainless steel keg. The keg(s) are used but have been pressure tested to ensure the sankey fitting and valve is in good working order. They show some signs of use. But are generally in good condition. They are great for converting to brew pots(keggle) using them for fermentation vessels for beer and wine, turning them into a still, or whatever else you may need to store. The keg(s) were used in a small to medium sized brewery for a few years and have been in a temperature controlled warehouse for a couple of years. The dimensions are roughly 23.5" height X 15.5" diameter weighing in at about 30 pounds. Message me with any questions. Discount available to anyone that would like a bulk order of 50 kegs or more.
