It measures 7-1/2" tall and has molded flowers(daisies. I believe) around the top edge and a feather like handle and feet. It is hand painted with pink flowers on three sides with green leaves. There is a honeycomb effect on the interior. I did not know the pattern, but was informed by a friendly eBayer. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or problems. According to our research. Bessie was born on March 13, 1887 to Moses J. and Mary(Hayes) Townsend. She is the oldest living child, and has four siblings: John Hayes, Maggie, Azubal(sp? and Mary. We believe. Based on our research, that Bessie married Henry Clemons Meeker, born in New Preston, Connecticut in 1882. Henry and Bessie appear in the records of British Columbia, losing two sons: Henry in 1927 at age 9 and John Hayes in 1936 at age 13. The diary contains short daily entries. J Estey Organ-LOCAL PICK UP ONLY This is antique J. Estey organ made in Brattleboro VI. As seen in the pic the date reads Oct. 1865. It is in need of some repairs but is in overall good cosmetic condition. The candle holders are in great shape and it comes with original stool. It seems to have only had three owners. It would make a beautiful decorative piece or could be repaired to working order. Anyone interested can feel free to come inspect the piece. Feel free to ask any questions.
