This Brother 4-head machine is only about 5 years old. It is well maintained. But our shop is trading out our smallest machines for larger ones, and we need the space! This machine runs well and all heads, all needles and comes with hoops, all hat assemblies and the manuals. I have a 6 head. 5 needle Barudan commercial embroidery machine. We picked this up to use for our embroidery company, but have not had the time to set it up. We've had it over a year and have not used it yet so we are deciding to sell it. When we got it, we were told it runs and have no reason to think it doesn't, after all, we got it to for our company. We've plugged it in and everything appears to be fine. Also, everything works manually and nothing appears to be frozen. We've cleaned it up and it looks pretty good. It has a large assortment of hoops. There are no cap drivers. I have plenty of pictures I can send if you'd like. The only thing I know is broken is the florescent light fixture. I have a Happy 6 Head commercial machine for sale. I bought a couple of years ago to use for a couple of big jobs I had but was able to do them with my 4 head Happy. This machine is built like a tank. No plastic parts. I had to remove the front and rear tables to get it in the door. this machine is MASSIVE and very HEAVY) I have not reinstalled the tables completely( they would have to be removed again anyway to get it out of the building) I have never hooked the machine up but when we bought it it was working. There are no hoops with the machine and parts of the pantogram are missing. The machine appears to be in very good shape with mild use. I included a pic of the head with the cover off so you can see the cushions are very good shape as well as the needle bars. 2005 Melco Amaya Embroidery Machine and accessories - Runs Great - light usage
This is a high precision commercial embroidery machine- single head- 16 needle- SUPER FAST AND RELIABLE- runs up to 1200 stitches per minute- ran most of my hats around 700 stitches per minute and the flat garments of normal weight were run around 1.000 stitches per minute. This system is for the first time embroiderer that has nothing and wants to start up with everything- OR- for that company that already has a unit and would like to add another AMAYA in tandem for an additional head. The hat hoop is a wide angle hat hoop which will allow you to do the large designs on the front of any baseball caps or other hats that fit on the hoop. I personally have put only about 150 hours on the machine- so it is like using a new machine. If you are brand new to embroidery- Melco has a phenomenal training program(I went to it and learned a lot) that ... moreyou can take. I went to the one in Los Angeles. But I understand they have them throughout the country. It was well worth the money spent and allowed me to start working as soon as I returned. There are also training CD's in the equipment listed.
