EVGA 680i SLI and Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 motherboard cpu combo w/4gb Ram
This was my main gaming system for a couple years. It works great. It was last running windows 7 without any issue. I had updated the bios some time back to support Wolfdale chips and it has worked fine for several years. The only problem is the northbridge cooler had started making some fan noise. But it still spins. The northbridge has a big honking heat sync on it, so it's not going to overheat. It's got some dust on it from use. You need a case with some space in it because the cooler is so big. It's quiet though. I mildly overclocked this board to 3.4GHZ. With this big Zalman cooler you can probably overclock it a lot more if thats your thing.
