For sale is a used Hubbell weatherproof retractable cable reel. Model HBL 501431W with double sided electrical outlet(4 outlets) and 50 foot cable. It was used and has some scratches and paint chips and slight surface rust where metal has been exposed. The rubber cable stop is worn, the previous owner wrapped electrical tape around it and then wrapped the electrical tape a couple of inches up the cord. I suppose it worked to keep the cord from fully retracting but frayed the cord in one place where the tape pulled on it when the stop hit the end. The fray can easily be wrapped with electrical tape, I point out flaws and leave the covering up to the buyer. I removed all the old electrical tape, turned the stopper around using the unworn edge and installed it over a few layers of electrical tape. It appears to be holding fairly well but a new ... morestopper wouldn't hurt. The cord comes out and retracts excellent.
