I have seen these described as from the 20s and 30s but I am not sure of there age. They look old to me. These could use some polishing. The stick is opened similar to an umbrella.There is a silver band around the stick which is slid along allowing the stirrers to pop out the end. When the band is slid back the stirrers retract back into the stick. There are 4 in working condition and 2 that need repair(band is not connected to the inside part anymore. Hi folks, Here for your bidding consideration are these 3 antique victorian and very early 1900's chateliane items. The first is a mother of pearl shell bodied scent bottle and I believe the cap. Chain and frame to be sterling over brass. The pieces are in naturally aged expected condition with a natural patina, no polish or cleaning has been done, The photo displaying the side of the shell which appears to be a crack is NOT a crack, this is a naturally occuring overlaping of the shell. The crown cap does not fit easily into the neck due to age so I left it off for the buyer to attach.The longer retractible or propelling pencil has a slide action with a purple or amethyst capstone on top of it's ornately carved sided body and crown. They are a dark brown enameled metal and measure 4-1/8" across. Each eye piece is about 1-1/2" across inside diameter. The fob is marked STURDY but no metal content. It looks gold plated but I can't be sure. The nose piece of the glasses is marked Fits 11 with an A logo. Everything in very good condition. Nose springs work well. Cool Vintage MCM Atomic Flying Saucer Hanging Pull Down Retractable Light Lamp
Selling a nice retractable hanging saucer light fixture in a spun brass finish. I liked this one in particular because of the glass pattern and that the saucer is more saucer shaped and less like an upside down bowl. t hangs at roughly 18" from ceiling to the top of the saucer) and extends to roughly 40" It is not perfect but is in good shape considering it's age. The cord extends and retracts as it should. All the collars are intact and it includes the mounting bracket. The picture is of the actual item for sale.
