Awesome ETHNIC, European tile has paper label on back, of white with red text which is in Greek text, so I have no idea what it reads. Could be this is a souvenir from someone's trip to Greece. It is a type of net lace and I have seen it called Alencon machine lace. True Alencon lace is rare so I am doubting this is true Alencon lace so I am calling it Alencon style lace. It is ecru in color. I can find not breaks in the lace but there is one tiny dark spot near the center on one of the wider pieces and it actually looks like a small pencil mark. You can see it in the detail picture just top and right of the center. I am not a lace expert but I believe this piece to be early 1900's. It was purchased with other textiles of that era. Up for bid is an Antique Hand Crocheted Beige 63x120 Square Pattern Tablecloth. It is in nice condition for it's age with some minor stains which can only be seen up close and could be cleaned if desired. It is Hand Crocheted into nice Square Patterns all linked together. A very small part of one of the designs is missing near the edge and is being held together with a safety pin. That is the only major defect.
