Saved from the scrap heap by a quick-thinking electrician. They were relocated and stored for years. Rediscovered and still in amazing condition, they were purchased by me. Their strength and hardiness made my job and passion a breeze, fun to work with. I completely disassembled the lights. Cleaned and inspected all the parts. The aluminum cages were simply cleaned as were the thick and heavy protective glass globes. The sockets were cleaned, inspected and re-wired with 14 gauge copper wire. This vintage Crouse-Hinds Condulet Explosion proof trouble lamp measures 15" tall and 6 3/4" wide at the cage's hook. The pulley that it mounts to extends about 7" from the wall. Its mounting plate has four 1/4" holes spaced 1 1/2" vertically and 2 3/4" horizontally on center. The pulley and the lamp have the patina of age- this lamp would be perfect for a living room wall.
