Our items are used and arrive in our hands with limited accessories. Up for auction is a GREENLEE NO. 640 HEAVY DUTY POWER CABLE PULLER WIRE TUGGER- USED& WORKING! Included in the auction is the Greenlee No. 640 Tugger only. Exactly as shown in the photos provided. This unit is in good used condition, with average signs of cosmetic damage from previous usage(including original owner markings, dried grease, numerous scuffs/scratches, paint chips, etc) as to be expected when purchasing any used industrial equipment. Up for sale is a Greenlee#640 cable puller or tugger. It broke a chain many years ago and has been sitting in the tool room screaming for repair. I had others to use. If you are reading this. You already know the capabilities of this tool and how to use it. Well, I completely disassembled it and replaced everything. New grease, bearings, chains, drive sprockets, hardware, etc. Repainted, tested and ready for more years of use. I can tell you that if the chains are worn. It will fail. They get loose from usage and have to be kept up. If you are buying a used puller, make sure these are replaced. The cost on the chains alone is over $100.00 and that doesn't take into account any labor. Worn sprockets? A disaster and very expensive.
