These explosion proof lights were removed from my fathers shop when he closed the doors about 6 months ago. These were the light fixtures he used in his paint booth. They conform to osha regulations. There are six lights in total this listing is for all six. The balasts were replaced about 8 months ago and all the bulbs work. The lights have cosmetic dings and a few dents and overspray obviously from what they were used for.this is all cosmetic as these lights work 100% I will not ship these lights whatsoever. they are located for inspection and pickup in south williamsport pa 17702. This is an incredibly gorgeous light. It is in working condition and is shipped as shown. The glass globe is very thick and heavy and is marked only with"A E C O" embossed in the glass which I tried to show but it was tough. The glass is threaded into the fixture and touches on what looks like a white"0" ring. The wiring is original and has no ground and very strange insulation that resembles fur. It does come with approximately 7' of cord on the end. The chord has a heavy rubber like coating that reads" 16/2 C 65 Str type so 600 Volt Paranite Dreadnought" The conduit on it seems to be original. It has a little piece of the label remaining. It seems to be 1/2" and the coupling on the end is hand tight. I made no attempt to detach the conduit from the lamp. There is an Allen set screw there and I can't ... morefind my Allen wrenches. The housing is in overall VERY nice condition. There are two spots that you can see are scuffed when you look closely but you Dont see them from any distance. The original spring loaded 600 volt porcelain fixture is present and in perfect shape. The reflector ring is present and beautiful. The lamp base is a heavy steel stand with original black paint and it makes the lamp quite sturdy. The rod is black threaded 3/4" pipe with a"T" fitting towards the bottom which provides an exit route for the power cord. A steel reducer is fitted to the top portion of the pipe giving the lamp a seamless transition into the antique explosion proof light. The vintage explosion proof light is truly the jewel of the lamp and has many great industrial attributes. A white porcelain covered steel shell houses the internal components of the light. Vintage Crouse Hinds Industrial Explosion Proof Light M2 Clear Glass Not Ribbed
This is a vintage crouse hinds explosion proof industrial light. This would be an AMAZING industrial table lamp! Most crouse fixtures I have seen has ribbed glass. This one is clear but you can see swirl marks, beautifully done. The glass has specs of paint I think? Needs to be removed. Bottom base has slight rust but as pictured has a piece cracked off.
