Aluminum chassis with cherry sides. This is a great foundation for an audio DYI preamp. DAC, headphone amp, or power supply. There are few tiny scratches on the aluminum as shown in picture. The cherry sides need a light sanding before finishing. The previous owner had accidentally splashed a little finish on one side. Desktop Project Enclosure - Aluminum Metal Chassis Box
A very nice painted aluminum enclosure for your project! Dimensions are 10" Wide X 7.25" Deep X 3.75" Tall. The front and rear panels are easily removed and can be flipped over to use the other side(not painted and without markings- but do have some holes and cutouts for the existing board) or can be replaced with a new flat aluminum piece or small piece of plexiglass. A circuit board with some very useful components is included for salvage value. It has various analog ICs. Resistors, capacitors, pressure sensors(2) as well as knobs, pressure fittings, connectors, etc. I have had very good results by cutting etches on the existing board and using some sections of the circuit- power on/off and input, pressure sensors, 15 pin(DB15) 68 pin(Like a SCSI cable) to attach to a new project mounted on top of existing circuit board(drill ... moreholes and mount Arduino on it) etc. OR- You can just remove the existing board and replace with your board of similar size- OR- Replace the existing board with a blank piece of perf board. Plexiglass, aluminum, or other material OR- Mount nothing in the rails and just drill holes in the bottom to mount your board on standoffs. The top and bottom of the enclosure currently have no holes or screws/mounting/fasteners at all. A very nice enclosure at a reasonable price- just use your imagination a bit. Added a normal IEC power inlet, and Earth ground and Ground points. Nothing else has been done to it. FOR SALE IS A KRAMER DMZ 6000 B ALUMINUM NECK BASS. MADE IN THE USA. THIS BASS SHIPS WORLDWIDE. HAS SCHALLER TUNERS. I am selling this AS IS at close to HALF PRICE what these usually go for as a project. But the bass works and needs MINOR REPAIRS: Missing spring and screw on bridge(zoom in on bridge pic) I AM INCLUDING ANOTHER ALMOST IDENTICAL REPLACEMENT WARWICK BRIDGE! You can remove the parts from it and put on the KRAMER bridge. About half an hour of work. It has a small superficial crack in the laminate just over the P-bass pickup. Missing small neck screw cover plate. Scratchy pots. Normal Dings for 30 yr old bass. Pedulla case is old and needs handle. The DMZ 6000 B was made in limited production. Making this one of the rarer models. This is one of the better Kramer basses with Dimarzio precision and jazz style pickups, which were ... moremuch stronger than the Kramer humbuckers. The most unique thing about these basses is the tone, resonance, attack and sustain you get with the aluminum neck; This is a more prominent quality on the basses than the guitars, as I have owned and played both. This particular basses is one of my very favorite in my collection, and one of the best playing Kramers I have handled. Sometimes you get a guitar that is a better build than others, and this is one of them. This model is fairly rare as there were not that many made of the Alembic"hippie sandwich" style. If you have ever played a graphite neck bass such as Modulus, Moses, Steinberger, Zon, Schack, Vigier, or Status(I have had the good fortune to own them all, and*sniff* had to sell'em too) you may already be familiar that these basses make incredible slappers; and I find that the aluminum necks are even more resonant than the graphite necks. These are extremely solid, and have no dead spots whatsoever. The necks are not susceptible to relief changes caused by changes in humidity, and do not warp. Kramer basses were the successor in the aluminum neck era basses which started with Travis Bean, and ended with Vaccaro

This might be re-purposed into something else or used for a custom built scope. it's made of aluminum and brass mostly. see pics for measurements. there is a round piece that fits into the yoke that i guess was supposed to bolt to the scope. sadly there is only one of those but its shaft measurements are shown so you can see what fits the sleeve bearing in the yoke. the bottom is set up with a worn gear. looks like it was intended to be driven with a bodine reduction motor. internal measurement from yoke to yoke is just a tad over 20" see pics for various measurements. somebody spent alot of money to make this. the whole thing is put together with machine screws. it may be disassembled for shipment if needed.

The heat sink was removed from power supply equipment and was designed to mount a high power IGBT device in the machined area. The base aluminum is a little over 1/4" thick and the fins are 2" tall with spacing at 3/8" apart. The fins cover an area of 8.5"X 9" There are various holes drilled in the mounting surface that originally mounted fuses and bus bars.
