58 NOS Vintage Bakelite Sierra Electric ivory ribbed switch plates/outlet covers
Up for auction here is a lot of NOS Sierra Electric brand vintage ribbed ivory switchplates and outlet covers. To wit: 33- single gang outlet covers- of these. Four appear to be of a slightly different vintage, based on the fact that the backs are different(see photo: the one on the right is the"different" one) The design and appearance of the fronts are identical on both"types" however. 18- single gang switchplates 6- double gang switchplates 1- double gang combination(switch/outlet) plate All of the plates are ivory. With very minor variations in shade that I suspect all fell under"acceptable" at the factory. Side by side, you might tell a difference; in use, you'll never notice. Most of them have the cover screws, but several of the screws worked their way out of the packaging. I will include whatever ... moreloose screws I find(sorry, there was no way to avoid that phrase) It is likely that some of the cover screws are AWOL, but these are available at any hardware store, so no need to panic. glass kiln 110v electric flameworking annealer flame working oven regular outlet
This oven has not been used much but it has set for a number of years in my garage not being used. I bought this from a friend that gave up making beads and moved away. It is heavy. But it is as minimal in weight as it can be for the insulation that is required for this type of heat. The guy I bought it from ran it at 950 to anneal beads and other flame worked projects. He had it custom made so he could fit bigger things than some other small ovens. Well crafted and perfect for annealing beads or any flameworked project. For any flame worker that would like to anneal their work. It works on a regular 110 volt outlet and it has only been used 8 times since it was built a few years ago so the element is in perfect condition. Call me and I will have you come over to take a look. If you are in Indy I can drive it over if you give me some gas ... moremoney. The annealer is insulated very well and it has no cracks where any heat escapes. Call me or text about it if you are interested. 317-979-6941 come and take a look. The inside dimensions are 11 by 10 1/2 by 17 inches and the outside without the handle is 18 by 20 by 27 tall. The only drawback is that it has a dial for the temperature control.
