The scrap book originally belonged to Chief Aviation Rigger Herbert Gowan of the U.S.S.Wright from the mid 1920's. The scrap book was vitually gone and this is one of the loose photos in the book. 1929 autograph of EDWIN ARLINGTON ROBINSON - American poet, Pulitzer Prize
Autograph of Edwin Arlington Robinson(1869-1935) American poet and three-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. Neatly signed by Robinson in black ink and dated May 1. 1929. On single sheet of stationery, 8.5 by 5.5 inches. VG condition with two folds from mailing, typical age-toning of the paper, and small mark in the margin from a removed paper clip. Robinson self-published his first book in 1896. His success was gradual. But he went on to win the Pulitzer Prize three times in the 1920s, for his Collected Poems.
