Vita Vacumat 2500 Porcelain Oven
Prosthodontist selling what had been my main day to day porcelain oven. The only reason for the sale is that I recently had to buy a pressing furnace to do e.Max and I do not have room for both in the lab. Was going to keep this oven as a backup. But increased taxes are forcing the sale of a few things to cover expenses. This is a fully functioning piece of equipment which has been completely reliable. The factory vacuum pump is included as well. And will be shipped in the sturdy, original factory packaging. Manual is included. I am the original owner of this furnace and it is in cosmetically very good condition as well. As shown in the photos. Muffle was replaced around 2 years ago, so should be good to go for several years. Since I am a dentist and not a production lab, this furnace has been used only by me and for a relatively low volume ... moreof units, so it is certainly not near the end of its useful life. In the interest of full disclosure. The only minor thing which is not currently up to original factory spec is that the O-ring which seals the firing platform should be replaced, ideally. Having not gotten around to that, for the past couple of years I've relied on a thin layer of gasket material laid on top of the O-ring to provide a seal so that full vacuum can be reached. This auction is for a used Jeneric Pentron Auto-Press Plus Porcelain Furnace. We were able to bake nice porcelain crowns and successfully run a few pressing programs. We could not fully test the pressing functionality of this oven because we do not have the accessories and materials for pressable ceramics. This oven is in mint cosmetic condition and has only 829 firing cycles on it. Because the door gasket does not sit well in its place there is an air leak and the vacuum pump turns on and of to keep the vacuum level above 700 mm. Sold as is.

You can adjust every parameter of the baking cycle. You can also pause the program in mid cycle to change a setting( like the high temp. Or soak, or cool down time) then finish the cycle with the new settings. The best part that I liked about the oven was the night mode. You can stack your porcelain and load up both trays with your crowns then start the programs for both trays and the oven will run the first tray, cool down, run the second tray then shut itself off for the night.
