Clean and properly operating constant current DC power supply capable of supplying up to 250 mA of current at voltages ranging to 100 Volts. The output is extremely well regulated and free of ripple, so that with a suitable termination, it also makes a very stable voltage reference. It is shown in the first photo at maximum output current with the voltage reduced just enough to trigger voltage induced limiting- hence the LIMIT light. From the 6181C manual: This supply is designed for applications requiring a constant current source with a high degree of regulation and stability and very low ripple characteristics.
