For auction is one used HP 6281A DC power supply 0-7.5V 0-5A. With Option 011(crowbar) I replaced the line cord that was severed near the inlet, each of the three wires was soldered together and insulated with heat shrink tubing with an outer heat shrink tubing around the entire splice. Other than the line cord, the power supply is in good physical and cosmetic condition, and electrically performs well. The metering switch contacts were cleaned when I first acquired the power supply and has performed without any problem since. The voltage and current limit adjustments both have coarse and fine controls and all the knobs are intact. I have tested the power supply with 6 Volts and a 1 ohm resistor(6 amps) Photos show several other testing conditions. The load resistors in the photos are 1 ohm, 1% and 50W ratings. I've taken the time to run down the full factory adjustment procedure to ensure that everything is perfectly in spec. I've used this for years. And I'm very pleased with how the calibration came out. So what does this mean? Analog volt meter and voltage adjustment knob zeros on zero. And linearity checked to full range. So when you set the needle to 5, 12, or 22, you're more than likely within about 100mV without even breaking out a separate multimeter. Tektronix CPS250 Triple-Output Dual-Variable 0-20V/0.5A, 5V/2A, Analog DC PS
Up for sale is 1 Tektronix CPS250 Triple Output DC Power Supply with two 0-20v rails and one 5v rail. The 0-20 rails can be independently varied. Or parallel tracked, or used in serial and have adjustable current limits up to the 500mA maximum output. The 5v output is fixed and provides up to 2A of current. The photos show the 5v actual output, the actual voltage output when set to a 10v indication, and lastly the serial tracking set to 20v with an actual output of approximately 40v. The Fluke 8600A meter shown is in calibration and dead on. A 3-prong IEC line cord is included This has been my everyday bench supply for 2 years but I now need one with GPIB connectivity to replace this fine unit.
