Vintage Schrade Old Timer U.S.A.Fixed Blade Hunting Knife With Sheath
A LOT OF FISH AND GAME HAVE BEEN DRESSED AND CLEANED WITH THIS KNIFE. IT HAS BEEN SHARPENED AND CLEANED ON A REGULAR BASES. THE SHEATH IS ORIGINAL AND STILL IN GOOD SHAPE WITH THE RETAINER STRAP HAVING A SMALL CUT ON IT. THE BLADE IS ABOUT 6 INCHES LONG. I BELIEVE THIS MODEL WAS ALSO REFERRED TO AS THE"DEER SLAYER" BUT I AM NOT 100% SURE. VERY NICE AND DEFINATELY USABLE. TAKE A LOOK.

knife has a little bit of surfce rusting but this will burn right off with some polish. Tekna stainless steel dive knife with sheath & straps
This Tekna-brand dive knife is a classic. Stainless steel knife that was originally designed to be used by SCUBA divers and snorkelers. The hard plastic sheath has a unique latching device that holds the knife securely in place, even in rough water conditions and at angle-even upside down. And yet the knife is easily and quickly accessed with the press of a thumb as it is drawn from the sheath. This knife includes the original velcro straps that allow the knife to be worn on either forearm or ankle. The buckles on these straps also have a very unique design to them in that they have tension springs within them to pull the straps tight, thereby helping to keep the rig in place on your body during movements like swimming. The knife itself is made from a solid piece of stainless steel with holes in the handle to reduce weight(knife weights 3.6 ... moreoz) The handle is grooved along the edges(17 lines per inch) to assist in gripping while wet. The blade itself is double-edged and is still in excellent condition, with serrations on both edges. The point is perfect. I only used this knife to occasionally cut nylon rock climbing line(6mm kernmantle) It has never been sharpened and still has a nice sharp edge on both sides. There are some very fine scratch lines on the sides of the blade which are caused by the sheath when inserting and removing the knife. The sheath is solid with no cracks or damage, but there are 3 small places which are lighter color(see photo 8 at tip of sheath, also similar places on each side) The latch works perfectly and securely. NOW, in addition to being a nice diving knife, it obviously has other uses as well. I did NOT use this knife in eaither salt water or fresh, but carried it during several outdoor adventures. It's a fine knife for hiking, camping, rock climbing, etc. It would also be a perfect concealed-carry knife, assuming your local laws and ordinances permit such use. Then the blade is adorned with artwork like the tsuba and handle and scabbard. CONSERVATION 1 Do not attempt to sharpen the blade. The use of sharpening stones or(heaven forbid) a grinding wheel can cause the total destruction of the sword from a collectors standpoint. It takes special training skill and tools to properly polish and sharpen the sword. 2 Do not use sandpaper. Steel wool or any abrasive materials on any part of the blade including the tang(nakago) These will scratch the blade and detract from its beauty. 3 Do not use ANY type of metal polish on the parts of the sword handle. This is just a rare and beautiful knife in an equally beautiful sheath. Stamped on its blade only with a ship's wheel logo and"SOLINGEN. I don't recognize this maker's mark but it's obviously German, made as a beautiful copy of an old Russell Green River Works design. Hand-forged with a superior carbon steel blade that was made in a classic drop-point profle, it's sturdy enough to be carried into the field as a hunting knife. Handle is jacaranda wood hafted over a full and tapered tang using four steel pins and a clad-steel bolster to reinforce this critical juncture where blade meets handle. The thick cowhide sheath is not original(doubtful this knife ever had a sheath when it left the factory) but is one I had custom made for the knife, intending, originally, to use it in the field; it fits the knife like the proverbial ... moreglove. To say the least, this sheath is of VERY nice quality with a decidedly Native American flavor. The photos make the knife and sheath look pretty good but in person they're even nicer. Condition is nothing short of superb. With no problems of any kind. This knife measures 10" long with a 5-7/8" blade but by any measure it is an heirloom-quality piece in heirloom-quality condition and something that will instantly take center stage in even the best collection. Made in Solingen. Germany by the Guttman Cutlery Company sometime in the 1950's-60's, this OUTSTANDING old bowie knife is as fine a knife as you'll find at any price. It has been customized in several ways, leaving it a singularly beautiful knife with so much going for it that it's hard to know where to begin. With a THICK and sturdy carbon steel blade atop some of the most impressive sambar stag handle scales you'll ever come across. Riveted over its full tang with some brass and steel rivets that were made especially for this knife, which was originally sold with plain brass pins. it's reinforced at the bolster with the classic bowie-knife cross-quillon but it, too, is a custom-made accent on the knife, made slightly thinner but much more round, almost like that found on a cutlass protecting a much larger area of ... moreyour hand. WW2 US Theatre FIGHTING KNIFE w/sheath NO RESERVE
Here's a fine handmade fighting knife made during WW2 and commonly referred to as a Theatre Knife. It measures 12" overall with the blade being 7.5" Blade is heavy and has median grind line and convex grind. I think it was ground from a file or rasp but no teeth remain. No pitting or scars on the blade. Nicely tempered and razor sharp. Thick brass guard. Handle spacers and butt cap. Leather stacked handle with finger grooves. A very substantial knife that was built to take hard use. Original handmade leather tube sheath fits the knife perfectly and looks to be the same age as the knife. A nice example. NO RESERVE. 30" India Sword w/red sheath and chain, collectors, hobby, gift SWEET
Up for auction is one sword from India. 30" long with red sheath that still has the chain on it. The handle is made of brass with what looks like lucite in it. The blade has never been sharpened and is in great shape. The velvet on the sheath is not damaged or stained. The age of the sword is unknown but i've owned it since 1966. This sword will make a nice addition to a collection or a gift for the collector close to your heart. Pakistan Pakistani Decorative Sword 44 inches Middle Eastern with Leather Sheath
This is a Pakistani Middle Eastern sword. It is a really nice piece. The total length is about 44 inches with the blade being about 31 inches and the handle being about 13 inches. It comes with a nice leather sheath as shown. The weight including the sheath is just over 5.5 lbs. Overall it is in pretty good shape. However towards the end of the blade, there is some dirt/ possible rust. It feels as though it is above the blade which leads me to believe it is mostly dirt. The pictures make it look much worse than it really is. A little bit of sandpaper should take care of it, and then mineral oil should keep it in good shape. I will leave it up to the purchaser to take care of this. Grip panels are solid Maple hardwood, slightly rounded at edges for a more comfortable grip, and handle is string wrapped and sealed. Handle has NO visible cracks, chips, dings, or looseness. Knife will handle about any farmstead raised, or sporting game animal. Does NOT get much better in American made Skinning Knives than a vintage Russel Skinner from Green River Works. I have a friend who sharpens knives and can get this sharpened if you prefer. I never know if I should or shouldn't as I've been told to leave vintage items as they are. Anyway. There is some discoloration on the blade. Engraved Kinfolks USA on the blade. The handle is gorgeous, a rich butterscotch color with red and black trim plus brass spacers. The pommel is black and appears to be bakelite, actually the entire handle looks like bakelite but I'm not sure. The axe measures 10 1/2" long and 3 5/8" at the widest part.
