You are looking at 1.5" precision ground rod. This is some sort of high quality steel alloy. This came off a Thomas linear bearing assembly. It is used but in great shape. Has minor cosmetic blemished no nicks on the bar. The bearing that was on the bar rolled smoothly. What you see in the picture is what you will be getting. eBay Store Home View All Items About the Seller Contact Seller Vintage 1940s Cut and Etched Lead Glass Back Bar Ship Decanter with Ground Ball Stopper Mouse over images to see enlarged view This is a very heavy vintage 1940s lead glasss decanter with a ground stopper. It measures 8 1/2" tall without the stopper and 5 1/4" in diameter. It measures 11 1/2" tall with the stopper and has a 1" thick glass bottom with a carved and etched four masted clipper ship on the side of the bottle. The glass stopper is one solid piece of very heavy glass. The decanter and stopper weigh in at almost four pounds. This would be a real show piece on any back bar on a yacht or in any house or club. My house will miss this piece. It is in very good condition with the exception of a small chip on the underside of the lip of the bottle(see pictures) ... moreIt is almost invisible but can easily be polished out should you choose to have it repaired. For sale is a very nice sine bar jig from the estate of a retired friend who served as supervisor of the tool room for a Ford Motor Company plant in Michigan. It was probably made by him when he was training as a journeyman early in his career. The primary dimensions are: 3" wide. 6-1/2" long when closed, 6-3/4" high when opened, and 1-3/4" thick when closed. The distance between the center of the rolls is 5" It has numerous 1/4' tapped holes on the upper plate to facilitate clamping. No rust is apparent on any metal surface; there is slight discoloration of the metal in a few places, primarily on the bottom surface of the lower plate. It is very well made and in excellent condition. Please refer to the attached photos for confirmation of design and condition. Please forward any questions for a prompt reply.

This ground/terminal bar is just over 5 inches long. The 17 holes measure 1/4 inch were a 6 wire fits snugly. The big fitting has opening just over 1/2 inch wide so it will accommodate a wire that size. This big fitting can be removed by undoing the screw. There is 2 holes that go all the way through so it can be used for the mounting screws to a plywood surface or even a buss bar. Vintage Drawplate, K & D Staking Anvil, Ground Steel Precision Bar Riveting Tool
Vintage lot of tools from the bench of a watchmaker/jeweler/machinist: 1) Kendrick& Davis(K& D) six sided bench anvil/bench block/staking anvil/riveting anvil; 16 holes. 5 slots; No. 1085A; all holes and slots clear; no initials, markings, scratches; 2) rectangular anvil with seventeen holes, one of which is partially blocked- see where tweezers point in photo no. 3; I see no identification on this item; excellent vintage condition; 3) Drawplate made in Germany- I see no manufacturer's name; quality tool in outstanding condition; I have seen a number of drawplates listed, and some of them appear to have non-tapered holes; it is my understanding that a drawplate has by definition tapered holes; this heavy(approx. one lb. does have them) 4) I believe the rectangular steel bar(approx. 7 5/8 x 1 1/2 x 1/4" is precision ground ... morebut it looks to be homemade(see photo no. 3 with either maker's or prior owner's name and date) seems to be absolutely flat; 5) new old stock aluminum anvil; and 6) small riveting anvil made in France; all holes clear.
