For sale is a set of 7 matching antique push button on/off switch covers. Each is constructed of heavy. Solid stamped brass with a quality that reproductions can't match. All are of matching size but vary in surface condition. None of them have any bends or dents. Some light surface wear and scratches from storage can be found. The patina is different shades, but with some polishing all will look as good as new. Some dirt and grime may be found. I have done nothing more than dust them. Vintage Honeywell Tap Lite Push Button Wall Switch Clown Face W/Push Button Nose
This is a very neat old push button type of light switch and clear plastic plate with a paper clown face inside. It measures 4+1/2" X 3" and the top and bottom measure about 3/8" thick and the middle is about 1/4" thick. So its a rather concave shape. It is in good condition with a crack in the top right area as shown in the last picture. You can't feel the crack at all from the outside, so I don't think it goes all the way through. It's a really cute vintage switch plate that you could put any picture you wanted into it. It was made by Honeywell in Freeport, Illinois and was in good working condition when removed, so should still work just fine. Please check out my other auctions and email me with any questions. Nice clean ivory color plastic Leviton two gang pushbutton switch plate. Probably from the 1940's or 1950's, found in a box of“odds& ends” of unsold merchandise from a long closed hardware store in central Wisconsin. It was still in a cellophane wrapper which was all dried out and torn, think it should have had a little package of screws with it which were missing. This wall plate would be in mint condition except for a tight, hard to notice little stress crack between one of the push button holes and the screw hole below it, lower right area of the photo. Up for auction is this vintage 1920s brass push-button wall light switch plate. Standard size of 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. This plate was original equipment(not a reproduction or replacement) in a never-updated northern New Jersey Colonial house built in 1925. Plate was painted on outside with Colonial green wall paint many decades ago. But paint has started to wear off. Would be easy to remove the rest of it to restore original brass finish. Includes four original brass mounting screws. Plate is in good used condition. A nice vintage item if you're restoring an older home or replacing missing fixtures. Says 1/3 HP 115V AC I would have to say the 2 screw holes in front are for mounting plate cover. Plate cover holes each look the same as having a small chip around them. Condition is very good. NOT TESTED.buttons are in fine working order. In that they spring back when either one is pushed in. You can hear the click so to speak. Measures: 2 7/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.
