Monster Cable Alpha Genesis 1000 Moving Coil Cartridge(broken cantilever) This was was a really wonderful sounding cartridge; it sounded quite a bit better than most of the considerably more expensive cartridges that I owned. I broke the cantilever while taking these pictures; only explanation is that I accidentally pushed the cantilever backwards. If you can get cantilever replaced you will have a superb sounding cartridge. This cartridge's sound is very neutral and accurate. And unlike the Koetsus it will not make a string quartet sound like the string section of an orchestra; I got rid of my Koetsu Rosewood Signature after hearing this one.
