Tektronix AFG 5101 Programmable Arbitrary/Function Generator Plug-In Module This auction is for a Tektronix AFG 5101 Programmable Arbitrary/Function Generator Plug-In Module. Just the plug-in. The Tek power rack it is in is not part of the deal and neither is the oscilloscope in one of the pictures. The module powered up just fine and appeared to be functional. You can see the output on the scope. But I tried to change the output to millivolts instead of volts just playing around with it. Whatever I did brought up an error message. Something to the effect that the entry was out of range or something. So I moved on to taking pictures of the other plug-ins in the rack. When I came back to the AFG 5101 there was no display. I tried powering the rack off and back on. Still no display. And the output ON button/LED was off; I pressed it and it ... morecame back on but then went off again. Now I have a hard time believing that my attempt at changing the output killed the thing. And it does still show other LED’s on so it is getting power. Could be a case of operator error since I know nothing about these things. But I have to assume that it should have a display and it doesn’t. So I am selling it for parts or repair only. HP 83545A Plug-in for HP 8350 Sweep Generator and Anritsu Directional Detector
HP Agilent 83545A 5.9 to 12.4 GHz Sweep Generator Plug-In for the HP Agilent 8350 sweep generator mainframe. Shipping weight = 24x12x12" 13 pounds Removed from working test bench equipment. It appears to be within specifications for power output from 5.9 to 12.4 GHz but has a leveling issue. The"Unleveled" light stays lit. I feel that this is merely a calibration issue. But I do not have time to dig further into it. I have used an external directional detector. And this adequately levels the output such that the Unleveled light goes out. I am including this Anritsu Directional Detector in this auction. This also includes a printed copy of the HP 83545 Operation and Service Manual. I used this in my own HP 8350B sweep generator in conjunction with a HP 8756 analyzer for a few years and it works great. Wavetek 3001 (3000 Series) RF Signal Generator Plug-in Modules
Wavetek 3001 Spare Plug-in Module Set Below is a group of modules removed from a Wavetek 3001 Signal Generator. Over the years these modules were used to troubleshoot and repair a number of Wavetek 3000- 3006 Signal Generators. Most were just substituted. Operation verified and the bad module repaired. I have the extender to extend modules for troubleshooting, repair and alignment. I'm left with these modules from a damaged generator that also had a non repairable attenuator.
