Dimensions: 7.5" L x 4.5" W x 4.5" H. The mounting foot raises it another 1.5" Original finish. Original rounded"V" grill. The siren is in very good condition for its age. Its front grill(grille) has a couple tiny dents(clearly shown in the photos) and two of its four screws are missing. Very clean behind the grill. The siren is a bit loose on a mounting foot which is set firmly on a wood base that has seen its better days. And that measures 9 3/4" x 4 1/4" The switch setup to run the siren consists of a foot switch. A power transformer and cords. The switch is a Linemaster Switch Corp. Lektro-Lok ... moreSwitch CAT. No. L-4-S and the transformer is a 110v AC to 6V DC, and has been modified and/or repaired. The switch cord is frayed and has exterior tears, so I would replace it, but it works and it allowed me to easily test the siren. The transformer's case is missing a screw, and a dent is keeping the top from fitting into place. The power cord is 15 ft long; it is actually two cords that were joined together(see the black tape) The siren was made by Federal Sign and Signal Corporation. Blue Island, ILL. I learned Federal had it in mind to sell these small sirens to volunteer firemen, hence they were called the volunteer or"V" series.
