This nice vintage bayonet is 11 3/8 inches long overall with a 6 7/8 inch blade. The blade is carbon steel with a dull black finish. It has a long deep blood groove/ fuller on each side. It is marked 5G867 257. This variation of the bayonet has a full tang. Redish/ brown composite grips with 2 rivets, and the early long style guard.
