This aluminum mess kit has gone hundreds of miles with me and has always done a good job. Cooks well over open camp fire or backpackers stove. Includes large pot to boil water or to melt snow. Large plate to serve your meals and can be used as the lid for the pot, two nylon reinforced cups that are also marked for measuring, stainless steel fork knife spoon that lock togetter, aluminum hot pan handle to grip the plate or pot once they get to hot to touch, nylon strap to secure everything togetter- and I am including the GERBER Splice multi tool knife. This knife is almost new. Has only been on two backpacking trips and has never been resharpened. Still has the factory edge. This knife is small enough to put on your key chain, yet has 10 tools. This auction listing is for a Thomas& Betts- T&B TMB-2K Color-Keyed compression lug/splice/tap connector kit with tool for wire sizes#8-6-4-2 AWG. Kit contains an older model crimp tool that has been used and a little abused. The edge of the T&B brass name plate has been dented– to be truthful it looks as though an electrician used it in lieu of a hammer. It is dented. It doesn’t look very nice, but in no way does it impair the use of the tool or the quality of the crimp. As stated, this is a used kit in very good overall condition with approximately 85% ± the original quantity lugs/splices/taps. It is being sold cheap because it is in used condition.
