Item recovered locally. Semi-tested and sold AS IS. This auction is for one(1) Nice Motorola Battery Charger Model NTN1174A w/one Power Supply. This auction is for a super nice looking battery charger for Motorola batteries. This is a single charge base unit and has three charging clips inside the base bay for charging the battery. The bay has slots towards the front so that if your battery is too small, a spacer can be installed to snug the battery up to make good contact with the charging clips. These spacers are not included, but you can probably make one out of a piece of metal or stiff cardboard. It states on the sticker that this charger is used with a UL listed transformer 2580955Z02. Since I didn't have a battery to plug in, I plugged charger into the power supply and did a multimeter test on the unit. As you can see by the picture, ... moreit is outputting sufficient voltage to charge your battery. I don't have a battery to put in this, so can't check if charging light comes on, but should if the right battery is installed, since output voltage what checked and good. For indoor use only. Item came in with a battery, so I voltmeter tested the battery before plugging it in. The battery was low. I plugged the unit in, and green and red lights flashed, then stopped. Plugged battery into left slot and light lit up red, meaning it was charging. Later in the day, noticed the light had turned to green, meaning the battery charger was done. Did another voltmeter check on the battery and it was at full charge. Don't know how long battery will last, since I have no Walkie Talkie to test it out with, but did charge fully.
