This is a very nice set that you don't see very often this complete. I believe the only part missing is the battery backpack and flash hider which should be easily found. This set is 100% Original Korean War Era(Made 1951) I was told all pieces/parts worked but I have not tested it. The original gun that was in the stock was the super rare Irwin Peterson which the original owner decieded to keep. RARE VINTAGE 1946 MOTOROLA DIPLOMAT "SCAN-O-SCOPE" RADIO MODEL 65L1 WORKS GREAT!
Up for auction is a very nice and rare Motorola"Diplomat" Scan-O-Scope" radio model 65L1 that was made in 1946. Folded up in the case the radio measures approximately 12" long. 9 1/2" tall, and 6 3/4" deep. With the front open and extended up(picture no. 5) the radio stands 18" tall. The dial face is marked STANDARD BROADCAST and has the AM STATION markings. The radio serial number is 1440. Uses 117 volts AC/DC(15 watts) and has a very large Eveready battery no. 756. When plugged in the radio reception is very good and the station tuner works just fine. I tried the radio on battery only and it is not surprising that it did not play. No way to know when the battery was last replaced. I have done some checking and this radio is extremely hard to find. There is another person on eBay that has an original Radio ... morePhotofact Sheet for this radio. The outer case is a little rough in some places but that happens after 67 years. Overall this is a great radio find and a must for the avid radio collector! NOTE: The shipping cost includes insurance. 3-D Vintage 12" Cram's Scope-O-Sphere World Globe on Double Axes.
You are bidding on this Rare. 3-D, Vintage, Used, 12” Cram's Scope-O-Sphere World Globe, on DOUBLE AXES. The stand and the two axes are bronze-painted metal. The North pole has an aluminum circle, embossed on the cardboard(1-3/4” diameter) that indicates the TIME ZONES. The globe also has a chart with the WATER DEPTHS, ANALEMMA and an ECLIPTIC LINE. The overall width of the globe with the stand is about 14" and it is about 16" in height. There isn't any date of manufacturing of the globe, but I assume it is made before the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1991, and even before the end of the Vietnam war, in 1973, since South and North Vietnam are on the map. Spanish Sahara-also on the map- existed officially until the winter of 1975, just before the death of Franco, when Spain withdrew its troops from the region and Morocco ... moreand Mauritania took over. Zaire, with its official name, existed from 1971 and became Democratic Republic of Kongo in 1997, and it is also on the map. Therefore, the globe is made most likely in the early 1970s.The globe is made by The George F. Gram Company, Inc. Indianapolis, IND.
